Dawson Daniels is a 2025 2B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Chance, MD who attends Washington. Nice athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an open and narrow start with a high leg lift timer, gets his foot down on time, hits to all fields and stays inside the ball, has some lift in his swing and some more power he can get to, best contact to the pull side gap, has some projection as a hitter. Primary second baseman on defense, has good lateral actions and is light on his feet for his size, plays through the ball well, short and compact arm action with the ability to throw comfortably from different slots, makes the plays. Also pitched, works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, has a deep off-line arm takeaway in back and a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot coming through, has to lean off to let his arm through creating inconsistency. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, also threw a soft slider.
