Tyson Moran is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Wingham, ON. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.68 seconds. Graded out best on the mound in this event, abbreviated windup with some drop-and-drive, athletic mover, lengthy arm stroke on the backside to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 78-80 mph with slight arm side run, consistent zone filler with fastball, showed curveball with slurvy action, threw a lot of strikes. Worked out in the infield, waits back on the ball, corner profile, developing hand actions and feel for glove, clocked up to 77 mph on throws across. Hits from even-based stance with relaxed set, active hands in load, longer stride with developing ability to hold coil, shows solid barrel skills. Named to 2022 PG CPBL Fall Prospect Games Top Prospect List. Very good student.
