For the fourth week in a row the top three teams in Perfect Game's ranking of the Top 25 college baseball teams remains the same with LSU, Texas A&M and Louisville all holding steady. Illinois leap-frogged TCU by sweeping Ohio State and winning their 21st consecutive game after going undefeated in the month of April.

As a result, Ohio State was quickly, and somewhat unfairly, ushered out of the rankings, but it will have another chance to jump right back in next week when it hosts No. 25 Maryland in Columbus. The Terps were swept by Indiana this past weekend yet took two midweek contests to barely hold onto their Top 25 status.

No. 22 Virginia also fell out of the rankings, although it played only one game, a midweek contest against Old Dominion that it lost, 3-1.

Re-joining the rankings this week are Arkansas and Houston.

The Razorbacks opened the season 16th only to fall out of the Top 25 altogether in mid-March after a sweep at the hands of now No. 12 Vanderbilt. After losing their series the following weekend to No. 1 LSU, Arkansas has since won six straight SEC series, including a series win over Texas A&M two weeks ago and most recently sweeping Alabama.

Houston opened the year No. 8 in the nation, falling out of the Top 25 three short weeks ago. It has since taken key American Athletic Conference road series against South Florida and Tulane. The Cougars finish the regular season at home against East Carolina and UConn.

Also considered:
Auburn, California, UC Irvine, UNC Wilmington.
