Frank Pena is a 2016 OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Miami Killian HS. Large frame with excellent present physicality; very good combination of size, strength, and athleticism. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.91 seconds. Sets up to hit with even, balanced stance; swings the bat hard with serious intent to do damage. Has big time strength in his swing, shows some barrel control with the ability to hit the ball to all fields with power. Has good bat speed and stays short to the ball, will get long at times but has the bat speed to compensate in certain instances. Worked out defensively in the outfield and showed very well. Moves well to the ball and stays low to the ground with good bend in waist. Works through the ball and fields cleanly, body projects as does the arm strength, currently his arm is very solid and reaches up to 85 MPH from the OF with good accuracy. Named to 2016 World Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
