Zach Stamolis is a 2018 2B/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; good physical projection remaining. Ran very well, posting a 6.90 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from upright and narrow-based stance, raises hands into load with hitch, has looseness and intent in swing. Shows lofted swing plane, successful at hitting the ball into the air while staying committed to the middle of the field in approach and results. Worked out defensively in the infield. Stays low to the ground with good waist/hip bend, swivels hips and surrounds ball well, clean actions with high quality footwork. Easy throughout, fielded cleanly and made consistently accurate throws across the diamond, with arm strength clocked up to 78 MPH. Very good student.
