Matthew Nabieu is a 2028 3B/OF with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Mount Carmel. Recorded a 7.94 second sixty yard dash time. More compact frame with a lean build. Primary third baseman with fluid footwork with a clean prep step and gather. Glove works with a shorter, quick release pulling down through it. Moved well up the middle and accurate to first base. Developing arm strength. Secondary outfielder works through it at a deliberate pace with a shorter arm action and a fast arm. Fields it out front and uphill path on throws with a shorter arm release. The right-handed hitter starts from an even base with low hands and low back elbow, utilizes a soft hover trigger. Simple shift of the weight into contact. Short path with direct hands with a compact stroke. Contact oriented approach with projectable actions with mechanical refinement and added strength. Added a knock back up the middle during the game action. Young player with upside as he matures.
