Tre Combs is a 2017 OF/1B/RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake HS. Tall and slender athletic build, long arms, lots of room to get stronger. 7.06 runner, long and loose arm from the outfield, has raw arm strength with very good carry to his throws, threw well in games. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a barrel wrap start, doesn't get weight shifted to his front side well or on time, short swing path with mid to opposite field contact. Also pitched, delivery didn't allow his arm strength shine through, exaggerated arm extension in stab in back, high 3/4's arm slot with downward plane, lots of energy on release. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, throws a short slider while tending to slow down his arm. Nice young athlete who can improve with better fundamentals and additional strength. Good student.
