Matthew Siragusa is a 2018 OF/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. Siragusa has a lean build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance with a high back elbow. Simple leg lift trigger. Has short compact swing path with some late lift at contact. Does good job getting hips through the zone, mostly pull approach but does show ability to use the whole field. Defensively, threw 82 from the OF, with a short arm action to a 3/4 slot. Sure actions to the ball with clean foot work as well as a clean transfer and release. Accurate with developing arm strength. Good Student.
