Paul "Jeff" Hatton is a 2017 2B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Fulshear, TX who attends Obra D. Tompkins HS. Very slight build, minimal present strength. Right handed hitter, has sound mechanics at the plate and makes lots of contact, short line drive swing with middle of the field contact, handles the barrel very well. 7.73 runner, stays balanced well on defense and has soft hands at the ball, gets feet positioned to make throws, accurate arm, second base tools and actions. Plays with energy and should continue to improve with additional strength. Very good student.
