Rylan Fontenot is a 2017 2B/UT with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends West Brook HS. Short compact build. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a late close that leaves his foot late getting down, rotational upper half hitter, long arm swing, swings hard and is looking to drive the ball. Third base tools and actions on defense, 81/4 runner, stays low to the ground and fields the ball cleanly, makes accurate throws. Good student.
