Ronald Bryant is a 2017 OF with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL. Extra-large frame with excellent strength throughout body, very well-built and well-proportioned athlete. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Hits from high hand set and high back elbow start, wide spread stance, shows balance through swing mechanics. Has obvious strength in swing, lofted swing, will drop back shoulder and uppercut at times. Tries to drive the ball into the air and shows off both present and projectable power due to strength. Generates solid bat speed, can hurt the ball and drive it deep. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves well for size/build, comes in on the ball well and takes good routes in general. Fields cleanly and transfers well, gathers well into ultimate release. Shorter arm action with good accuracy to target, OF velocity clocked up to 74 MPH.
