Carson Hauben is a 2019 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Grafton, MA who attends St. John's. Large frame with athletic, solid build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Wraps hands deep back into load, arches back, shows lots of strength in swing, generates good loft with some leverage off of front side as well, good strength when on time, went to all fields and showed good pop to the pull side. Receives well behind the plate, shows solid footwork out of crouch, arm works well, up to 79 mph and pop as low as 1.92 seconds. Shows solid actions in the infield with big arm strength, up to 86 mph across. Pitched as well; online and balanced delivery, simple delivery, small arm circle to high three quarters slot, good extension, fastball worked 79-82 mph with good arm side run. Curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth; pitched mostly with fastball and was effective. Named to 2017 Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
