Hayden Moore is a 2021 OF/C, 2B, SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Edwardsville, IL who attends Edwardsville. Shows excellent speed and athleticism, running a 6.65 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a young and slender frame that has room to fill out and add strength. Has a sure glove and athletic actions when working through the ball, fielding off the front foot with a clean transfer to throw. Shows some present arm strength, making accurate throws with good carry to bases at 83 miles per hour. Secondary infielder that rounds the ball well with clean glove actions and a good backhand. Shows impressive range to the glove side, as well as an ability to make accurate throws across the diamond from multiple slots. Makes true throws with good carry at 82 miles per hour. Switch hitter that currently has a better hit tool from the left side. Has a high back elbow with a hanging load, showing a line drive barrel plane and some present pull side power. Shows some gap-to-gap jump in game action, recording a double to the opposite gap from both sides of the plate. Good student. Verbal commitment to Missouri State.
