Dominic Muccia is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Huntington Station, NY who attends St. Dominic. Lean athletic frame with room to add more strength as he continues to physically mature. Primary shortstop, worked through the baseball with clean, projectable actions. Moved well laterally while showcasing the ability to adjust arm slots. Has a good internal clock with a fast and accurate arm. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilized a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a leg lift up to the belt. Broke the hands at the chest and into a high three-quarters release. Filled up the zone with the fastball, which showed a touch of arm-side run and topped at 72 mph. Mixed in a straighter changeup with early fading action. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a low back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a short hover trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Creates some whip to the barrel and extension out in front. Stays over the ball, impacting it to the middle of the field on a consistent basis. Recorded two hits to different parts of the field in live action. Posted an exit velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 4.02 thirty-yard dash. Good student.
