Pj Hancock is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Roosevelt, UT who attends Union. Lean high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and slightly open stance with a hanging lift and replace leg trigger, has an uphill swing approach with good looseness and extension through the ball, looking to pull and lift the ball, lacks the present strength to do so consistently but has the swing and the mechanics to continue to develop with work and physical maturity. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has a compact and quick arm action and good carry across the diamond, gets his glove down early and fields the ball cleanly, works through the ball well on the move. Also pitched, gets good drive off the rubber and gets into his lower half, extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, got good carry up in the zone and was consistently located well to the glove side. Curveball was a very good pitch with big spin rates and sharp biting action. Had a feel for his change up as well. Has some arm potential in addition to his position talent. Good student. Named to the National Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
