Braylen Montgomery is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Walker, LA who attends Walker. Ultra-projectable and presently athletic build. In the outfield, he shows real range and tracking ability. Fields out front and gets to a downhill release. Exceptional carry and strength for the age with usable accuracy to both bases. Right-handed hitter, narrow upright base with low hand set. He shows solid bat speed that works on a subtly lofted path to impact. Creates jump off the barrel with limitless power projection. Translated to the strong batting practice into in game barrels. Big time threat on the bases, stealing multiple in every game. Smooth long stride runner that glides at high speeds, 6.76 60-yard. On the mound, he rocks back into a bigger kick. Some coil into the backside at the top. Works in line down the slope with a loose quick arm and three-quarters release. Locates the fastball to either side and plays a 10-4 breaking ball off the fastball plane. High ceiling athlete with loud tools. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
