Nicholas Grissom is a 2026 SS/RHP/C with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Frisco Memorial. Recorded a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a strong and physcial frame. Stays light on feet in the infield and showed good snatch to hands. Clean backhand and overall great glovework. Quick hands and threw accurately from multiple slots. Secondary catcher and used a clean transfer. Repeated actions well behind the plate and was accurate with carry to throws. Right-handed hitter and starts from an open base. Swing is hands driven and rotational with quality bat speed. Employs simple and repeatable swing mechanics and had a consistent round, working gap-to-gap. Right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Lnds on line and gets good extension. Fastball topped at 84 mph and showed good command. Mixed in a solid breaking ball with good depth as well as a fading changeup. Great student. Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
