Allard has enjoyed an impressive progression in high school, seeing a significant improvement in fastball velocity from 83 mph less than two years ago as compared to his peak velocity of 93 at the PG National Showcase. He's able to create that velocity easily, with a very live arm and an equally easy, repeatable delivery. Allard has shown to be able to maintain that low-90s velocity while mixing in a sharp mid- to upper-70s curveball and a mid-80s changeup.
