Will Toffey, ss/3b, Martha's Vineyard Sharks (Vanderbilt/FR in 2015) The Commodores just continue to stockpile premier talent with the addition of Toffey, who had quite a summer at the Futures League. Toffey, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder, who turned down overtures from the Yankees as a 23rd-rounder in the Major League Baseball draft this past summer, was ranked one of the top 500 high school prospects in the country by PG, and had a stellar summer, hitting .322 with ample power production with seven homers as well. Toffey has a good frame, is very athletic, and is very physical, as evidenced by the fact he's talented enough to be drafted as a hockey player. Toffey has a smooth lefthanded swing, is aggressive and is a cerebral player. He has good pop in his bat along with a good arm. Toffey isn't a blazer, but possesses average to above-average speed.
