2016 Top Prospects

Ashton McGee  MIF - 2016 - Goldsboro, NC
North Carolina

Another commit for the University of North Carolina, McGee showed really sound mechanics up the middle with lots of athleticism with throws coming cleanly out of his hand. A left-handed hitter, McGee showed nice life off the barrel with solid extension out front with consistent contact to his pull side.

2017 Top Prospects

Alex Toral  1B - 2017 - Davie, FL
Miami

There aren't many players in the 2017 class that have the amount of power that the left-handed Alejandro Toral can show. Swinging a loud bat, Toral hit three consecutive balls out to right-center field during batting practice and continued to find the barrel for hard contact throughout game settings.

Kyle Jacobsen  OF - 2017 - Acworth, GA
Hillsborough CC

Kyle Jacobsen impressed throughout the weekend in all facets of the game. An above average defender in centerfield, the uncommitted Georgia native ran a 6.70 60-yard and covered ample ground in game though his right-handed bat stood out just as much making consistent contact with present barrel skills and strength coming off to his pull side.

Mark Vientos  SS - 2017 - Pembroke Pines, FL
Miami

Mark Vientos put high level tools on display throughout the showcase but offensively and defensively. Up the middle the University of Miami commit showed pure actions and light footwork up the middle and plenty of arm strength across. He generates solid bat speed from the right side and shows interesting power that projects well moving forward.

Jordon "Jo" Adell  OF - 2017 - Louisville, KY
Louisville

Adell put together the loudest showcase as he ran a very impressive 6.47 60-yard and set the event record with an outfield throw of 97 mph. Showing plenty of bat speed from the right side, Adell is listed as a primary pitcher where he topped out at 90 mph with his top fastball and showed a hard 12-6 curveball down in the zone.

DL Hall  LHP - 2017 - Warner Robins, GA
Florida State

Committed to Florida State, Hall showed some of the more interesting ingredients on the mound. A left-handed pitcher, Hall topped out at 92 mph from an extended three-quarter arm slot, consistently getting on top of the ball and working down in the zone. His curveball showed nice depth and topped at 76 mph.

Kyle Hurt  RHP - 2017 - Rancho Santa Fe, CA
Southern California

Kyle Hurt turned in one of the more impressive outings on the mound, consistently pounding down in the zone with three pitches. Sitting comfortably in the 87-91 mph range, the Southern California commit shows solid fading life at 81 mph on his changeup and flashed a curveball at 75 mph.

Austin Beck  OF - 2017 - Arcadia, NC
North Carolina

A University of North Carolina commit, Beck is full of fast twitch athleticism as he ran a solid 60-yard time of 6.64. His speed plays in the outfield as he moves well to the ball and covers ground to go with his strong arm that produced 92 mph. His swing is fluid from the right side and he consistently hit hard line drive all of the field with jump coming off the barrel.

Nicholas Storz  RHP - 2017 - Brooklyn, NY
Louisiana State

Extremely well built at 6-foot-6, 245-pounds, the uncommitted Storz showed fluidity and ease in his arm action as he pumped fastballs into the zone continuously, topping out at 91 mph with his best fastball. Along with his heater, Storz showed a slider in the mid-70s. He also uses his strength well in the batter's box generating loud and hard contact to his pull side.

Trent Vietmeier  RHP - 2017 - Pittsburgh, PA
Louisiana State

Vietmeier topped out at 92 mph with his fastball, tied for the event's top velocity on the mound. Committed to Louisiana State, the strongly build 6-foot-3, 205-pound Vietmeier showed an easy arm action to produce his solid velocity down in the zone. His curveball showed 12-6 shape and flashed a changeup at 80 mph.

Joey Lancellotti  RHP - 2017 - Bensalem, PA
North Carolina

With a strong and physically built 5-foot-11,195-pound frame, the University of North Carolina commit came out running his fastball up to 92 mph with a loose and easy arm action. He worked downhill consistently with his fastball and showed a nice feel for both his slider and changeup.

Mervyl "MJ" Melendez  C - 2017 - Cutler Bay, FL
Florida International

Melendez showed off some of the best defensive skills behind the plate throughout the showcase, popping the events best time of 1.83 along with the hardest velocity of 84 mph. He moves well behind the plate and is equally as impressive with his left-handed swing, showing a quick and fluid swing with line drive contact to all fields.

Austin Mihlbauer  LHP - 2017 - Mukwonago, WI
TCU

Already committed to Texas Christian, Mihlbauer showed interesting stuff on the mound as he ran his fastball up to 88 mph from a low and difficult arm slot, generating plenty of life and plane. Staying low in the zone with his fastball, Mihlbauer showed a nice feel for both his breaking ball and changeup down in the zone.

Mitchell Stone  LHP - 2017 - Oklahoma City, OK
Oklahoma State

You aren't going to miss strongly built 6-foot-9 left-hander Mitchell Stone but incase you do he'll capture your attention quickly with his ability on the mound. Living in the mid-80s, Stone peaked at 88 mph showing nice balance and fluidity in his delivery and was able to put hitters away with a tight spin curveball at 75 mph that featured plenty of depth.

Justin Bullock  RHP - 2017 - Creedmoor, NC
North Carolina State

A highly athletic right-handed pitcher, Justin Bullock showed off a quick and projectable arm action that allowed him to run his fastball up to 90 mph. Staying in-state with his commitment to North Carolina State, Bullock lived down in the zone with his fastball and showed a nice feel for both his 11-5 curveball and his changeup.

Robert Touron  RHP - 2017 - Miami, FL
St. Petersburg College

Touron worked two quick and efficient innings, making an uncomfortable at-bat for hitters as he comes at them from a lower-three quarter helping generate solid life to his arm side. Topping out at 92 mph, Touron lived down in the zone while showing the ability to locate to both sides and showed a feel for his slider in the mid-70s.

Conner Uselton  OF - 2017 - Oklahoma City, OK
Oklahoma State

Uselton is full of high level tools as evidenced by his 6.78 60-yard dash and premium arm strength from the outfield with a top throw of 94 mph. Full of quick-twitch muscle in his projectable 6-foot-3 frame, the uncommitted Uselton can also swing it as he shows a very fluid swing with nice extension and carry to all fields.

Steve Mann  OF - 2017 - Farmington Hills, MI
Duke

It's hard to ignore the athleticism within Mann's 6-foot, 185-pound frame as he ran a 6.65-60 yard dash and threw an impressive 87 mph with solid mechanics to and through the ball. Batting from the right side, the uncommitted Mann shows a simple and short swing to the ball generating excellent bat speed with natural lift and big jump to his pull side.

Bubba Sangster  1B - 2017 - Altoona, FL
South Florida

Sangster provided a memorable blast during his round of batting practice as he crushed a ball deep to center field, clearing the wall in a part of the park where balls don't typically get out. The uncommitted Sangster generates big bat speed with extremely fast hands and hard jump coming off the barrel.

David LaManna  C - 2017 - Saddle River, NJ
Notre Dame

Full of athleticism behind the plate, the New Jersey native LaManna impressed defensively showing a quick transfer and release with soft hands and a strong arm. Showing his strength in his right-handed swing during batting practice, LaManna showed a balanced approach with solid feel for the barrel against live pitching all weekend.

Cooper Swanson  SS - 2017 - Fort Myers, FL
Florida State

Listed as a primary shortstop, the Vanderbilt commit showed off his ability to be a two-way player as he ran his fastball up to 89 mph with solid downhill plane. Defensively, Swanson possesses smooth actions with obvious arm strength, though his right-handed swing may be his loudest tool as he generates consistent and hard line drive contact.

Evan Hooper  OF - 2017 - Cabot, AR
Uncommitted

Hooper is an outstanding athlete as evidenced by his blazing 6.57 60-yard dash and then showed it off again in the outfield as he topped out at 92 mph with his best throw. With a quick right swing, Hooper generated hard line drive contact with solid and very consistent feel for the barrel.

Tyler Ahearn  RHP - 2017 - Jupiter, FL
Florida State

A Florida State commit, Ahearn showed a quick right arm coming through the backside, topping out at 90 mph with his top fastball, showing nice life down in the zone. He showed a nice feel for both his curveball and changeup and clocked in one of the top throws from the outfield at 90 mph.

Reese Albert  OF - 2017 - Jupiter, FL
Florida State

Throughout the weekend Albert showed off smooth and athletic actions, both in the outfield and with his left-handed bat. His arm action in the outfield is very easy and topped out at 89 mph. A left-handed hitter, Albert showed a short and quick path to the ball with solid bat speed and consistent barreled contact.

Oraj Anu  OF - 2017 - Orlando, FL
Kentucky/Wallace CC-Dothan

An extremely impressive athlete, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Anu ran a 6.52 60-yard dash. Using his strength and showing off his athleticism again, Anu is a switch-hitter that shows big strength and separation coming off the barrel with solid bat speed and big power coming off.

Austine Jeremy Arocho  SS - 2017 - Glen Burnie, MD
Northwest Florida State College

A primary middle infielder, Arocho showed nice defensive tools throughout the weekend up the middle, moving lightly on his feet with nice range to either side. His hands are soft and he showed nice strength across. Uncommitted, Arocho is a switch-hitter who showed a nice feel for the barrel from both sides and interesting strength coming off left-handed.

Austin Bates  C - 2017 - Ossining, NY
GGC/Chipola College

Full of athleticism behind the plate, the University of North Carolina commit showed well handling pitchers in game and light actions on his feet. A New Jersey native, Bates popped an impressive 1.84 down to second base and showed a quick and compact arm action capable of producing solid arm strength (up to 80 mph with top throw), a weapon he used frequently and successfully.

Robert Bell  3B - 2017 - Ormond Beach, FL
Bethune-Cookman

A switch-hitter, Robert Bell showed a solid feel for the barrel from both sides of the plate against live pitching with hard contact coming off the barrel to all fields. A primary third baseman, Bell showed off an easy and smooth arm action across the diamond.

Donovan Benoit  RHP - 2017 - Pensacola, FL
Tulane/Santa Fe College

With a long and projectable 6-foot-3, 183-pound, the uncommitted Benoit showed interesting two-way potential over the course of the weekend. A primary outfielder, Benoit showed very quick hands with a nice feel for the barrel and strength to his pull side. On the mound he topped out at 87 mph, showing an 11-5 curveball with nice depth as well as a changeup.

Griffin Bernardo  3B - 2017 - Longwood, FL
University of Central Florida

Committed to Clemson already, Griffin Bernardo showed off impressive juice in his right-handed swing as he generates consistent lift to all fields and does so while staying balanced through his swing. A primary third baseman, Bernardo shows solid athletic actions on his feet with an easy arm action across the diamond.

Ben Bianco  C - 2017 - Oxford, MS
Louisville

With a long and athletic frame, Bianco projects well as he continues to add strength to his 6-foot-2 frame. A primary catcher, Bianco showed off a quick transfer and footwork behind the plate and a smooth, fluid swing from the left side with present barrel skills.

Weston Bizzle  RHP - 2017 - Memphis, TN
Valdosta State/Chipola College

Committed to Vanderbilt University, Bizzle is a veteran of Perfect Game events and again did his thing on the mound. Showing an up-tempo delivery, Bizzle ran his fastball up to 90 mph and complemented his heater with a big 12-6 curveball featuring sharp depth and a late fading changeup at 81 mph.

Garrett Blaylock  SS - 2017 - Asheville, NC
Georgia

Blaylock is a long and athletic 6-foot-2 middle infielder who showed fluid and light actions on the middle with a quick first step and solid range. His arm strength comes easy with plenty of carry across. A left-handed hitter, the Vanderbilt commit showed quick hands with a short and rhythmic swing to the ball.

Joe Boyle  RHP - 2017 - Goshen, KY
Notre Dame

At 6-foot-5, 200-pounds Joe Boyle is loose and athletic on the mound and though he's already topping out at 89 mph he projects for even more velocity in the future. With a fast and easy arm action, Boyle is able to generate solid running life on his fastball while showing both a curveball and a changeup for strikes.

Cole Brannen  OF - 2017 - Elko, GA
Georgia Southern

Cole Brannen consistently put the barrel to the ball from the left side for hard contact, both in game action and during batting practice. A Georgia Southern commit, Brannen showed consistent contact with the barrel and big jump to his pull side. He also showed solid mechanics in the outfield with solid footwork and a top throw of 87 mph.

Noah Campbell  MIF - 2017 - Durham, NC
South Carolina

Noah Campbell is full athleticism, running a 6.72 60-yard dash and shows little footwork playing up the middle. Topping at 84 mph with his best throw, the switch-hitting Campbell showed nice extension in his swing with nice bat speed and feel for the barrel of the bat.

Cash Case  SS - 2017 - Mount Dora, FL
Notre Dame

A switch-hitter, the uncommitted Case showed a nice feel for the barrel from both sides of the plate with simple and repeatable mechanics with his hardest contact coming from the left side. Case moves well on his feet defensively up the middle and showed off a strong arm across the diamond with his top throw of 86 mph.

Jose Ciccarello  SS - 2017 - Tampa, FL
Florida

Ciccarello has continued to make impressive strides to his overall game every time we see him play. A primary middle infielder, the University of Florida commit shows both the actions and instincts, not to mention the arm strength with his top throw of 91 mph. He bats right-handed and shows plenty of ability with quick hands and a consistent feel for the barrel.

Matthew Cooper  OF - 2017 - Virginia Beach, VA
Clemson

There really wasn't anything that the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Cooper couldn't do on the field. Beginning his showcase with a 6.82 60-yard dash, Cooper showed off his biggest arm strength from the outfield, his primary position, with a top throw of 89 mph. His right-handed swing is fluid and quick to the ball showing plenty of lift and loud contact off the barrel.

Brad Czerniejewski  OF - 2017 - Lake Forest, IL
TCU

It's hard to miss Czerniejewski as his athleticism stands at the highest levels. Running an impressive 6.64 60-yard and throwing 95 mph from the outfield with plenty of carry, the Texas Christian commit also is able to generate big time bat speed form the right side, giving him several loud tools.

Ricardo De La Torre  SS - 2017 - Juana Diaz, PR
Auburn

Ricardo De La Torre is a loose 6-foot-1, 165-pound shortstop who is full of fast-twitch muscle and has room that will continue to fill out with additional strength. Though projectable, De La Torre already shows plenty of high end tools as he's a 6.82 60-yard runner and threw an impressive 92 mph across the diamond from a fast and loose arm while showing sound defensive actions.

Pat DeMarco  OF - 2017 - Winder, GA
Vanderbilt

A strong and physically built 5-foot-11 outfielder, the uncommitted DeMarco showed his strength in his right-handed swing as he generates solid life at contact using quick hands to whip the barrel through the zone. Showing the ability to use the whole field, DeMarco also ran a 6.99 60-yard dash and solid carry on his outfield throws.

Nick Dicarlo  SS - 2017 - Scottsdale, AZ
Cal Poly

With a lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound Dicarlo showed off a smooth and easy right-handed swing that he repeats well and showed off a consistent feel for the barrel. He shows off nice actions up the middle defensively working through the ball with easy and athletic actions, showing arm strength that projects well.

Mason Doolittle  C - 2017 - Jupiter, FL
Appalachian State/Palm Beach State

At 6-foot-3, 195-pounds Doolittle moves very well behind the plate with athletic actions and shows a strong arm with quick transfers down to second base. He popped at 1.84 and threw 79 mph down to second base. Against live pitching the uncommitted Doolittle showed a consistent feel for the barrel with hard contact while facing a variety of pitches.

Brandon Dorsey  3B - 2017 - Mount Airy, MD
Wallace CC-Dothan

Committed to the University of North Carolina, Dorsey showed easy actions at the hot corner both during drills and in game, showing solid footwork and nice strength and carry across the diamond, allowing him to make the long throw. A right-handed hitter, Dorsey creates very hard and consistent line drive contact with big jump coming off the barrel.

Zachary Dreznin  RHP - 2017 - Saddle River, NJ
Notre Dame

With a long and projectable 6-foot-4 frame Dreznin showed a loose and easy arm action as he ran his fastball up to 88 mph with nice running life down in the zone. His changeup mimics his fastball out of his hand at 79 mph and he showed a nice 11-5 curveball with depth down in the zone.

Harrison Francis  RHP - 2017 - Tallahassee, FL
Chipola College

Uncommitted, Francis has a long and lean 6-foot-2 frame making it easy to project on him with added strength gains. Running his fastball up to 88 mph with running life on his fastball and attacking hitters, the Florida native also showed a hard downward curveball along with the ability to turn over a nice changeup.

Raymond Gil  3B - 2017 - Miami, FL
Miami

Over the course of the weekend Gil showed off a nice feel for the barrel from the right side, using his strength and quick hands to generate hard line drive contact to his pull side. Defensively, Gil showed off nice actions at the hot corner with solid arm strength across.

Colin Hall  OF - 2017 - Alpharetta, GA
Georgia Tech

Colin Hall impressed in all facets of the game throughout the weekend, beginning with his arm strength in the outfield where he showed a top throw of 91 mph from a quick arm with sound mechanics working through the ball. Currently uncommitted, Hall isn't afraid to hit to all fields as he has a nice, consistent feel for the barrel.

Quentin Holmes  OF - 2017 - East Elmhurst, NY
Mississippi State

Holmes projects very well as he continues to add strength to his long 6-foot-2 frame, showing plenty of fast-twitch muscle as he ran a 6.67 60-yard dash. He uses his speed well on the bases and is an impact tool. A right-handed hitter, Holmes showed projectable strength with present carry jumping off the barrel to his pull side.

Everett Hurst  RHP - 2017 - Sebring, FL
Florida International

Listed at 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame the uncommitted Hurst showed a fast right arm coming the backside, producing a fastball in the 84-87 mph range, peaking at 88 mph with late running life down in the zone. His curveball showed late 11-5 life at 74 mph and like his fastball, located it down in the zone.

Bryson Hutchinson  1B - 2017 - Port Orange, FL
Mississippi State

Hutchinson showed there wasn't much he couldn't do on the diamond as he showed off big power to his pull side clearing the Monster during batting practice with equally as impressive contact in game. A primary first baseman, Hutchinson also showed a loose and easy arm action on the mound, running his fastball up to 90 mph.

Zach Jackson  C - 2017 - Haines City, FL
Florida

A strongly built left-handed hitting catcher, Jackson popped a 1.95 from behind the plate with sound footwork and showed off a strong arm down to second with a top throw of 78 mph. He's able to generate solid bat speed from the left side from his strong 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame with strong hands resulting in hard pull side contact.

Darion Jacoby  OF - 2017 - Pottsville, PA
Virginia Tech

Jacoby put his high end athleticism on display throughout the showcase after running an impressive 6.86 60-yard dash. With solid arm strength from the outfield, Jacoby also impressed with his right-handed swing showing a strong feel for the barrel with quick hands and solid jump coming off the barrel.

Bryce Jarvis  RHP - 2017 - Franklin, TN
Duke

A primary right-handed pitcher, the uncommitted Jarvis showed a quick right arm on the mound topping out at 89 mph with nice running life to his arm side. His changeup comes out from the same slot with fading life at 77 mph and a 12-6 curveball. His arm strength impressed across the diamond as well, topping out at 91 mph with his top throw.

Tyler Lasch  C - 2017 - Lake Forest, CA

Lasch showed solid defensive tools behind the plate throughout the weekend popping a 1.95 with a top throw of 75 mph down to second showing nice carry with projectable actions. A left-handed hitter, the Mississippi State commit showed nice strength and lift to his pull side with consistent feel for the barrel.

Kale Ledford  C - 2017 - Oxford, GA
Georgia/Chattahoochee Valley CC

Uncommitted, the 6-foot, 175-pound Kale Ledford made a loud statement with big time arm strength all over the field. Throwing an impressive 92 mph across the field with a fast right arm, Ledford also showed off his abilities from behind the plate topping 82 mph with his best throwing while popping a 1.83 down to second.

Jack Leftwich  RHP - 2017 - Maitland, FL
Florida

With an already strong 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame and a fastball that topped out at 89 mph, the uncommitted Leftwich still projects well moving forward. Showing a quick and tension free arm action, Leftwich is able to generate solid running life with late tumbling life on his changeup and a late breaking curveball down in the zone.

Greg Lewandoski  SS - 2017 - Deland, FL
Kent State

Already committed to the University of Florida, Lewandoski possesses sound actions up the middle defensively with quick footwork and solid glove work. With the bat though is where he made the loudest impression as he does a nice job of repeating his right-handed swing, consistently getting the barrel to the ball with loose hands and showing the ability to frequently backspin the ball.

Brock Mathis  C - 2017 - Fairfield, OH
Louisiana State/Northwest Florida State College

Behind the plate Brock Mathis showed off a quick transfer and soft hands along with athleticism as evidenced by his 1.93 pop time and his top throw of 76 mph down to second base. A University of Louisville commit and a right-handed hitter, Mathis shows a nice approach at the plate while generating solid bat speed with lift and power coming off the barrel to his pull side.

Brandon McCabe  RHP - 2017 - Boynton Beach, FL
Palm Beach State

A University of Miami commit, the strongly built 6-foot-1, 185-pound McCabe ran his fastball up to 92 mph, sitting consistently in the 88-91 mph range. Working down in the zone with his heater and showing the ability to locate to both side of the plate, McCabe also showed a sharp 12-6 curveball showing hammer life at 79 mph.

Samuel McMillan  C - 2017 - Live Oak, FL
Florida

Behind the plate the uncommitted McMillan showed solid in game actions with nice receiving skills, soft hands, and a strong throwing arm down to second base. Topping at 76 mph with his best throw while popping an impressive 1.83, McMillan showed a fluid right-handed swing with a quick swing and consistent feel for the barrel.

Cole McNamee  1B - 2017 - Milton, GA
Georgia Tech

After hitting a couple of home runs during batting practice, McNamee turned on an inner half fastball and his another home run, this time against live pitching. He showed plenty of strength and fluidity in his swing to his pull side and moves well on his feet in the infield with nice arm strength across.

Brian Morrell  RHP - 2017 - Wading River, NY
Notre Dame

Coming down from New York, Morrell impressed as a two-way prospect though listed as a primary right-handed pitcher. Topping out at 88 mph with his top fastball, Morrell had a nice feel for four different pitches out of a quick right arm. His top throw across the diamond clocked in at 91 mph and he generates solid bat speed from the right side with solid carry off the barrel.

Brendan Murphy  LHP - 2017 - Mundelein, IL
Arizona State

With a long and projectable 6-foot-3 build, Murphy already runs his fastball up to 86 mph and with a quick, extended arm action he's able to work low in the zone with running life on his fastball. Showing some diving life down in the zone with his changeup, the uncommitted Murphy shows short depth on his curveball while staying balanced and online through his delivery.

Jack Owen  LHP - 2017 - Coto De Caza, CA
Auburn

Jack Owen impressed during his time on the mound, pounding the strike zone with solid extension out front. Topping out at 85 mph, Owen showed a fast left arm while spotting his late fading changeup and solid 1-7 curveball with big depth throughout the zone. He showed solid actions in the outfield topping out at 91 mph with repeatable actions.

Tyler Paige  SS - 2017 - Miami, FL
Miami

Paige was a defensive standout throughout the weekend up the middle showing light actions on his feet allowing for solid range to either side. His hands are soft and he shows plenty of arm strength across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, the uncommitted Paige showed a nice feel for the barrel with extension in his swing.

Jacob Pearson  OF - 2017 - West Monroe, LA
Louisiana State

Pearson is a strong and physically built outfielder who showed off high level athleticism. Running an impressive 6.58 60-yard dash, the Mississippi State commit is able to generate loud and hard line drive contact to all fields both during batting practice and while facing live pitching.

Micheal Pelaez  1B - 2017 - Tampa, FL
Uncommitted

You won't miss the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Pelaez but incase you do he'll quickly capture your attention once he jumps on the mound. Though listed as a primary first baseman, Pelaez shows a very easy and whippy arm action running his fastball up to 89 mph down in the zone with solid life and a feel for his secondary offerings.

Joseph Perez  3B - 2017 - Pembroke Pines, FL

With a strongly built 6-foot-2, 200-pound build the University of South Florida commit showed interesting two-way potential throughout the weekend. Showing nice bat speed with lift at contact, Perez was able to drive the ball with nice extension at contact. He also jumped on the mound and showed off interesting arm strength, topping at 90 mph with his fastball.

Miguel Reyes  RHP - 2017 - Lafayette, LA
New Mexico/Hutchinson CC

With a strong and broad 6-foot-2 frame, Miguel Reyes showed off interesting two-way potential, using his strength well both in his right-handed swing and on the mound. A long and projectable 6-foot-3 outfielder, Rodriguez shows a fast and very fluid arm action from the outfield, topping out at 93 mph with his best throw. He's able to cover ground defensively and on the mound ran his fastball up to 86 mph. A left-handed hitter, Rodriguez shows quick hands with big bat speed and natural lift coming through the zone.

Chaney Rogers  OF - 2017 - Ringgold, GA
Georgia

A primary first baseman, Chaney Rogers is able to generate solid bat speed from the left side with interesting life and separation at contact. His swing is capable of producing solid pull side contact with jump off the barrel and defensively plays a sound first base with easy, athletic actions and nice instincts around the bag.

Carson Rudd  RHP - 2017 - Agoura, CA
Stanford

A highly projectable right-hander at 6-foot-4, 155-pounds, Rudd worked consistently in the 84-86 mph range, peaking 87 mph with downhill plane and late running life to his arm side. He made quick work of his two innings on the mound, featuring a low-70s curveball and a quick, repeatable right arm.

Committed to Louisiana State, Schroer is able to generate big extension in his delivery and lived down in the zone with his fastball that topped out at 88 mph, consistently living in the 84-87 mph range while projecting for more. A projectable 6-foot-4 frame, Schroer showed good life on his fastball to go along with a nice curveball and feel for his changeup.

Zach Sehgal  SS - 2017 - La Jolla, CA

Heading to the Junior National from California, Sehgal showed easy actions defensively and projects well as he continues to add strength to his long 6-foot-2 frame. Committed to Stanford, Sehgal moves well on his feet with fluid defensive actions with a short and compact path to the ball from the right side with line drive contact to all fields.

Shane Shifflett  SS - 2017 - Venice, FL
South Carolina/State College of Florida

A University of Central Florida commit, Shane Shifflett stood out in several aspects of the game with his athleticism and switch-hitting ability. Showing off his quick-twitch muscle, Shifflett ran a 6.73-60 yard and showed soft hands and a quick release with a top throw of 86 mph across. Shifflett is also a solid switch-hitter with a solid feel for the barrel and strong contact skills.

Patrick Sisk  3B - 2017 - Fox Point, WI
Chattahoochee Valley CC

A strong 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame, Sisk used his strength very well in his right-handed swing as he generates solid bat speed and hard contact to both gaps. With a consistent feel for the barrel at the plate, Sisk also showed an easy arm action across the diamond with a live arm and nice strength.

Brady Smith  C - 2017 - Niceville, FL
Florida

Brady Smith is a well rounded baseball player who excels in several areas of the game. Showing advanced defensive actions, the uncommitted Smith shows athletic actions with soft hands and plenty of arm strength across, topping at 87 mph with his best through. A right-handed batter, he also showed off solid strength with hard contact coming off the barrel.

CJ Smith  LHP - 2017 - Royston, GA
Georgia

CJ Smith is a lean and projectable left-hander who topped out at 86 mph during his time on the mound but given the quickness and looseness of his arm action, it's easy to envision more velocity coming in the near future. Attacking hitters with a full three-pitch mix, the uncommitted Smith showed off a sharp and deep 1-7 curveball for strikes.

Committed to Mississippi, the 5-foot-11 Spears showed nice projection all around with solid tools at present. A right-handed hitter, Spears showed off quick hands in the batter's box with a consistent feel for the barrel. Defensively, Spears showed off fluid actions in the outfield with an easy arm action and repeatable mechanics.

David Vazquez  SS - 2017 - Coral Springs, FL
North Carolina State

Throughout the weekend the uncommitted Vazquez showed off easy and loose defensive actions while completing the difficult plays with relative ease from shortstop. With arm strength that will continue to develop on his throws, Vazquez also displayed projectable hitting tools, already showing a smooth and fluid path to the ball with lift at contact.

Ryan Vilade  SS - 2017 - Stillwater, OK
Oklahoma State

A strong and athletic 6-foot-2 188-pound middle infielder, Vilade showed smoother and repeatable actions up the middle with light actions and strength across the diamond. His right-handed bat produced consistent and solid contact off the barrel with natural lift and hard line drive contact to all parts of the field.

Austin Weiermiller  LHP - 2017 - Milton, GA

With a loose and projectable build, left-handed Austin Weiermiller ran his fastball up to 87 mph with loose and easy arm action with the ball coming out of his hand clean and easy. Sitting 85-87 mph throughout his two innings, the Stanford commit showed the ability to locate to both sides of the plate and tight rotation on his 1-7 curveball.

Justin Willis  RHP - 2017 - West New York, NJ
University of Connecticut

Working from an up-tempo delivery, Willis pounded the strike zone very consistently with all three pitches. Topping out at 88 mph from a lower three-quarter arm slot, the uncommitted Willis located well to both sides of the plate with his fastball. Along with his fastball, Willis pounded both a slider and curveball, each showed distinct shape.

Triston Casas  3B - 2018 - Pembroke Pines, FL
Miami

Entering just his freshman season this upcoming spring, Casas showed big two-way potential that will be fun to watch as he continues to develop. Already committed to the University of Miami Casas shows a smooth and fluid arm left-handed swing with nice lift and strength to pull side. He also ran his fastball up to 87 mph, showing an easy and repeatable arm action with downhill plane.

Alec Sanchez  2B - 2018 - Jacksonville, FL
Florida State

Completing just his freshman year this past spring, Sanchez has already developed a track record of being able to consistenlty get the barrel from the left side. With a high leg lift at the start of his swing, Sanchez is able to stay very balanced through his swing, repeating it well with the ability to square up all types of offerings.

Tim Borden  SS - 2018 - Sellersburg, IN
Georgia Tech

Already committed to the University of Louisville, Tim Borden showed off sound defensive actions both during drills and in game with solid fundamentals, light actions, and an easy arm action on throws across. With the bat the Indiana native projects well with added strength, already showing nice fluidity in his swing.

Xavier Edwards is a very good athletic and full of quick-twitch muscle that shows well in his overall game. A switch-hitter, Edwards shows a nice feel for the barrel with consistent line drive contact.

A San Diego State commit, Magrisi had a strong performance all over the field throughout the weekend starting with his play up the middle where he showed long, athletic strides and solid arm strength across. He also brought that arm strength on to the mound as he topped out at 86 mph, showing a feel for both a changeup and curveball.

Grant Burton  OF - 2018 - San Juan Capistrano, CA

Coming out from California, Grant Burton showed solid arm strength on his throws from the outfield leaving his hand with ease and accuracy. A strongly built 6-foot-1, 202-pound right-handed bat, Burton is able to generate solid bat speed through the zone and showed big strength coming off his barrel to the pull side.

Jacob Steinberg  3B - 2018 - Germantown, MD

Jacob Steinberg did a little bit of everything over the weekend and showed solid arm strength wherever he went. A primary shortstop, Steinberg showed a quick release with his top throw clocking in at 85 mph. He shows lift and strength at contact from the right side and also ran his fastball up to 85 mph on the mound.
