Recruiting Seminar

Perfect Game Staff

As part of your Perfect Game Showcase experience, you are invited to participate in a College Recruiting Seminar to be held on Friday, October 31st at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel – 200 North Centennial Way.

This seminar is free for parents and athletes!

Plan to come early to check in for the showcase at 7:00 pm and then take part in the seminar which will begin at 7:30 pm in Ballroom D.

· How familiar are you with the terms ‘quiet period’ or ‘dead period’ as they are related to recruiting?
· Do you know about ‘official visits’ and restrictions on how and when a coach can communicate with recruits?
· Are you aware that there are over 475,000 high school baseball players and only 25,700 total NCAA baseball players?
· Do you realize that only about 7,300 spots open up each year on those college teams?
· Do you know that athletic scholarships are not guaranteed but are renewable each year at the discretion of the coaching staff?

These and many other topics will be discussed at the seminar.
