NCAA Super Regional: Southern Miss @ Florida

GAINESVILLE, FL- Southern Mississippi was the #1 surprise coming out of the NCAA Regionals, winning the right to play a best-of-three super regional at the University of Florida this weekend.  The former #3 regional seed stunned the Gators in the first game on Saturday evening (June 6th, 2009), winning  9-7.

USM is not overflowing with prospects; they have interesting freshman, including shortstop B.A. Vollmuth and leftfielder Kameron Brunty, but their draftees in 2009 will likely be in the middle and late rounds.  The one with the best chance to go inside the first ten rounds is
