OHIO ELITE U16 - 2009

The Ohio Elite U16 team competed in 2008 as the Central Ohio Sharks U15 team.  The team had a very successful season.

They had tournament wins at the TCS Slumpbuster in Omaha, NE; TCS Buried Treasure; and the prestigous Buckeye Elite Tournament in Columbus, OH.

They also had runner-up finishes at a season opening USSSA NIT, The Ohio Major State Championship, and the Triple Crown Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC (losing to a very good Carolina Astros team in the Championship Game).

Their other 2008 tournament (the U16 Beast of the East Tournament) ended with a close loss in the semi-finals of the Championship Bracket.

For 2009 the team helped form a new organization, known as Ohio Elite Baseball and the organization was able to establish quality teams for 2009 at the U11, U12, U13, U15, U18 and has two teams at the U16 level.
