Has all the tools, just needs to refine them/get stronger; hit .306-2-31, squares up balls, projectable power; + hands/feet at 2B/3B

A bit undersized, but has rubber arm, ++ competes, can + deal with 3-pitch arsenal, FB up to 91, + breaking ball; went 6-1, 1.50

Ex-Pitt QB still adapting to 2 years away from game, mostly DH role; has size, arm, can hit (.347-1-30), swing not geared for power

Impressive LH bat, speed for a catcher (.344-0-22), power will come when fills out lean frame; solid receiver, needs quicker release

Played 8 G (.464-0-5) before ran into RF wall making catch, separated shoulder; + bat, + versatile in field, skills best suited for 2B

Mid-80s as prep SR, so landed at D-II school; now 6-4, fluid delivery, FB up to 94 at ASG as 18-year old, went 5-1, 62 IP/58 SO
16. KENTON PARMLEY, ss, DeKalb County Liners (Southeast Missouri State/JR)
Strength of game is ++ range/arm strength at SS; average speed, but gets excellent jumps; gap power, needs to be more selective

Solid player at bat (.316-2-28), in field; very advanced approach; power emerging, mostly now to gaps; actions a little stiff at 3B

R/S as Tennessee FR, posted 3-3, 5.02 mark on summer; still long way off, but is 6-7 RHP, dominated in last outing with 92-94 FB

Barreled up balls consistently with power swing (.302-8-32); lot of SO early, made adjustments; OK arm/speed, lacks true position
20. JOMEL TORRES, 1b/of, DuPage Dragons (San Diego State/JR)
Biggest strength is ability to hit/square up balls/go with pitch (.294-5-31), power continues to evolve; arm/speed more suited for LF
21. WILL BROWNING, rhp, Danville Dans (Louisiana-Monroe/SR)
League leader in saves; tough on both RH/LH hitters with running FB in/out at 89-91, has 3 other pitches from multiple slots/angles
22. GREG VAN HORN, ss, Chillicothe Paints (Wooster, Ohio/SR)
Played key role at SS, in 4-hole for league champs; hit .317-4-33, proved he can hit + pitching; has arm for SS, feet more for 3B
23. DOUG JOYCE, c, Nashville Outlaws (Union, Tenn./JR)
Well-traveled player leaving FIU for Tennessee NAIA school; has big power, ++ arm, but stiff actions in field may push him to 1B
24. RYNE PURCELL, rhp, Terre Haute Rex (Eastern Kentucky/SR)
Lacks dominating size/stuff, but has + delivery/quick arm, excellent control of sinking 87-90 FB, solid 2-plane CU with sink/depth

Hit walk-off HR to win league title; perplexing player, has all the tools at plate/in field, but very inconsistent; struggles vs. + pitching

Big frame, good bloodlines (son of Darrell); intriguing LH bat, legit power, hits for average (.323-4-37), selective at plate, only a 1B
27. NOLAN EARLEY, 1b, Terre Haute Rex (South Alabama/SO)
Best tool is bat; hit .296-2-24, 20 XBH, power hurt playing in big park; decent speed, average arm, covers ground in both CF/RF
28. RYAN CAMP, rhp, DuPage Dragons (Illinois State/JR)
Scouts saw him at 95 in spring, so arm strength is evident; FB more 90-92, lacked confidence in his stuff, mechanics inconsistent
29. KEVIN JOHNSON, rhp, DuPage Dragons (Illinois State/SO)
Big 10 freshman of year went 1-7, 5.06, vulnerable to big IP but upside still evident; FB a steady 88-91, + break, but both pitches flat

6-3/215 Missouri JC product auditioned for move to D-I level with 3-0, 1.35 summer; sinking FB peaks at 93, needs consistent velo

Mostly 1B/3B in HS, has learned to catch in college, + arm, just needs to refine all skills; good pop at plate, needs to get stronger

Unheralded D-II arm made big strides over summer (5-1, 43 IP/43 SO), developed consistency with SL to go with heavy, sinking FB
