Most of Perfect Game’s 2011 schedule has been finalized
and is posted and available for viewing at https://www.perfectgame.org/Schedule/Default.aspx.
Players, parents and coaches are encouraged to click on
the link and request invitations to the nearly 60 showcases and tournaments
that have been finalized.
The 2011 schedule kicks off Jan.8-9 with three events
held in conjunction with one another at historic Terry Park in Fort Myers, Fla.
Terry Park will host the 2011 Perfect Game World Showcase – PG’s longest
running national-level showcase (since 1997) – the World Open Showcase and
National Underclass Showcase-Session 3.
It promises to be an excellent start to a 2011 Perfect
Game schedule that features events staged from Fort Myers to San Bernardino,
Calif., from Bristol, Conn., to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from McKinney, Texas, to Marietta,Ga.,
and from Minneapolis to Jupiter, Fla.
These events include both tournaments and showcases. The
three showcases Jan. 8-9 are not only the first of the new year but some of the
best, with hundreds of Perfect Game’s top prospects from across the country,
Puerto Rico and Panama in attendance.
The California Underclass Showcase in San Bernardino Jan.
15-17 is next on the schedule.
This year’s National Showcase and Junior National
Showcase are scheduled to return to the Metrodome in Minneapolis June 14-15.
WWBA age-group tournaments return to East Cobb Complex in Marietta , GA and
surrounding fields June 20 through July 22 and BCS Finals will be staged in
Fort Myers, FL from July 2-22.
The Perfect Game/EvoShield National Championship
(Upperclass and Underclass) is slated for Sept.23-26 in Phoenix, the WWBA Underclass
World Championship is Oct. 7-10 at Terry Park and the WWBA World Championship
completes the 2011 schedule Oct. 20-24 at the Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter.
