The Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect list is a bit different to put together than a standard top prospect list from a showcase, as there were players ranging in age from 17 to 23 years old on Perfect Game Field at Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids on Monday.

Of the 18 primary pitchers at the event, 14 of them at least touched 90 mph, including an eye opening 96 mph fastball from Johnson County CC RHP Vince Spilker that left a number of scouts reaching for their cell phones to get more information on the 6-4, 225 lb sophomore. Even at that, most of the scouts were focusing in on two talented high school position players, C Eric Haase from Michigan and OF Ben Roberts from Montana.
