The Texas State Championship provided some big shakeups in the updated National Top 50 this week. Brazoswood claimed the 5A state championship, ending a three year drought for Houston area teams. The Bucs moved up to #16 in the nation after their impressive run through the highest classification in one of the best states in the country. 4A Texas champ WF Rider comes in at #34 after stunning both Brenham and Calallen in the semifinal and championship games.

Other new additions this week include: #32 Lyons Township (IL), #47 Great Bridge (VA) and #49 Conestoga (PA).

The season has wrapped up in a lot of states but the season is still going on in Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa (summer season), Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Maine, Massachussetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin (summer season). The rankings will continue to be updated as these states progress through their spring season crown their champions before the Final Top 100 rankings are released at the end of the season along with the announcement of end of season awards.
