East Cobb Astros 14u Win 14u WWBA

After a couple of rain filled days in Marietta, GA the East Cobb Astros defeated Kentucky Baseball Club to capture the 2011 14u WWBA National Championship. This was the Astros second straight 14U WWBA championship and their 4th overall. 2015 Daniel Neal (London, KY, South Laurel) from Kentucky Baseball Clubs was the MVP of the tournament as he went 8-21 with 2 doubles, 3 triples and a home run as he drove in 15 runs during the tournament. The most valuable pitcher was 2015 Blake Hamilton (Ringgold, GA, Heritage HS) as he tossed 8 2/3 innings striking out 11 batters and did not allow an earned run and only 3 hits in the tournament.
