Today, we’ll address the other standout shortstop in the 2013 high school class, Florida’s Oscar Mercado, currently ranked No. 8 overall in the Perfect Game 2013 class rankings. While Mercado and Crawford share a similar national ranking and the same first round draft projection, they are two very different players in both background and athleticism.
