The Iowa Fall League workouts will be held Wednesday August 7th at Cedar Rapids Washington High School and August 8th at the Ames High School field in Brookside Park.  Addresses to those fields are on the Fall League page.  Both days will start at 9 AM.  Players only need to attend one of the workouts.  Whichever workout works best for your schedule is the one you should attend.  The tentative schedule is listed below.

8:00 AM-8:30 AM - Player check-in (players shouldn't get there before 8 AM as we won't check them in until then)

8:30-9:00 AM - Players warm up - PG Staff addresses parents

9:00 AM - 60 yard dash on track (no track spikes)

9:40 AM - Defensive workout begins
 OF throws
 IF throws
 1B throws
 C throws

Batting Practice by position - start time depends on how many players do defensive workout

Pitchers throw in bullpen

This workout is geared to determine placement in the Fall League.  It also is a tryout for the remaining spots on the Iowa Select Teams.  Players must be signed up and paid for the Fall League in order to attend the Fall League workout.  The length of each day will vary depending on how many players attend.  For any other questions, please contact Steve James at sjames@perfectgame.org.
