PGCBL and Perfect Game Announce Partnership Agreement Extension

At the annual WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Fla., the PGCBL and Perfect Game announced an extension of their partnership agreement.

Working together the two organizations will continue providing first class competition, training, developmental opportunities and exposure to top flight high school and college players from across the country.

"Teaming up with Perfect Game has given us access to coaches and players who did not consider joining PGCBL teams in years past.  Partnering with Perfect Game was the very first thing we did when we started the league.  They gave us credibility which immediately raised the bar on the level of competition in our league," stated PGCBL President Jeff Kunion.  "We look forward to working with Perfect Game to improve the quality of play on the field and the entertainment value we provide our fans."

"The PGCBL is a valuable extension of Perfect Game.  They provide quality facilities, excellent coaching and a great competitive environment for many of our alumni," said Perfect Game President Jerry Ford.

Perfect Game is the largest independent scouting service in the country.  In 2013, more than 85-percent of MLB draftees had participated in a Perfect Game showcase event.

The PGCBL is a summer collegiate baseball league in upstate New York.  Entering its fourth year of operations, PGCBL teams play in former New York Penn League stadiums in Elmira, Glens Falls, Little Falls, Newark, Utica and Watertown.  They also host games at Bellizzi Stadium in the new athletic complex of the College of St. Rose (Albany) and renovated ballparks in Amsterdam and Boonville.
