If you were Erick Fedde, you couldn’t have asked for a much better showcase platform than the one he received in 2013. Few players get the opportunity to strut their stuff for both the Collegiate National Team and in the Cape Cod League in the same summer, but the UNLV righthander had the chance to do just that. And, to say the least, he thrived under those two separate spotlights. By doing, he placed himself squarely in the picture as one of the nation’s elite and most advanced righthanded college starting pitchers.
