high school lefthander Foster Griffin has had a text book progression
of his talents and is a good lesson in understanding how many
elements come together in a successful, low risk scouting projection.

young prospect. His father, Fred, is a professional golfer, the
director of the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf in Orlando and is
recognized at one of the top golf instructors in the country. The
younger Griffin not surprisingly plays golf in addition to baseball
in high school.
