In the 2013 MLB Draft, what we essentially have right now are three pitchers who appear to be jockeying for the title of top college arm in the class. Right now, Sean Manaea looks to have a hold on that title, while Mark Appel represents the holdover from the 2012 class. Then there is Ryne Stanek, who given his track record, power arm, knockout slider, and projectable body could use this spring as a potential springboard to make a strong case for that title.
