Complete Game Bulldogs come back to beat Texas Athletics 4-3.  Hunner Jones (2018, Harlem, GA) started for the Bulldogs. In 2 2/3 innings, he struck out four while allowing a hit.  Eric Becker (2017, Greenbrier, GA) came in next.  He fanned one but walked two. Jones also drove in a run with a single. 

Dillon Nesbit (2017, Klein Collins, TX) singled in a run for the Athletics.  Ozbeth Marcelo Perez (2018, John B Alexander, TX) went 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Aces sneak past WSA

Diamond Aces scored seven in the third inning in their 10-1 win over WSA Baseball. Kyle Turner (2017, Griffin, GA) drove in three runs with two singles.  Isiah Harris (2017, East Coweta, GA) pitched in with two singles and two RBI's. Trey Jordan (2017, Whitewater, GA) singled in a run.

Cody Gwin (2017, Marianna, FL) singled in WSA's only run.

Corey Mitson (2018, Tipton-Rosemark, TN) threw 5 1/3 innings for Batters Box DeMarini 16U in their 6-2 win over C12 Athletics.  He fanned six while giving up four hits.   Luke Patterson (2017, Arlington, TN) came in to finish the game.  He struck out three and did not give up a hit.  Landon Hendrix (2017, Lexington, TN) led the offense with two doubles that drove in two runs.  Brett Sargent (2018, Lewisburg, MS) singled in a run.

Andrew Thomas (2017, Smoky Mountain, NC) pitched five innings and fanned four for the Athletics. 

Carolina edges Nationals

Team Carolina slipped past Georgia Nationals in their 7-1 win.  Mason Ingle (2017, Providence, NC) drove in two runs with two singles.  Alex Featherstone (2017, Ardrey Kell, NC) pitched in with a double and two RBI's. Tate Pennington (2017, Butler, NC) started and lasted five innings.  He struck out six while allowing four hits. 

Makai Holloway (2017, Tucker, GA) threw 4 1/3 innings for the Nationals.  He k'ed seven while allowing four hits. 

Big inning lifts Swarm

A big first inning helped Oxford Swarm top Augusta Titans 16U. James Parker (2018, Thompson, AL) led the offense with two singles and two RBI's.  Griffin Carroll (2018, Alexandria, AL) drove in two runs with a double. Colby Cagle (2018, Handley, AL) drove in a run with a double.  Parker also pitched 4 2/3 innings.  He struck out four while allowing just one hit.

Emmanuel Bryson (2018, Grovetown, GA) had the Titans only hit in the loss. 

Nelson Baseball School wins the Championship

The Nelson Baseball School 16's defeated the Triton Rays 16U 7-6 to win the 2014 16U Labor Day Tournament at Lake Point.  Alex Prosser (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) led the way for Nelson showing a short, compact swing and good bat speed going 2-2 with 1 triple, 1 double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.  Jamison Wilks (2017, North Paulding HS, GA) added in  a 2-2 game with 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 stolen base and 1 walk performance at the plate.  Jamie Boatright (2017, Hillgrove HS, GA) also showed well going 1-3 with 2 RBI and 1 stolen base, while Tyler Stevens (2017, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) went 1-2 with 1 triple and 1 run scored.    

Ty DeLancey (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) earned the win for Nelson as he started the game and went 2 innings on the mound.  DeLancey was aggressive with his 72-75/76 mph fastball and mixed in a late-breaking 63-67 mph curveball. 

For the Rays, Hunter Reeves (2017, Charles Henderson HS, AL) showed a live bat to go with good bat speed as he went 2-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  Koree Peppers (2017, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) went 1-2 at the plate with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 walk.  Also having a big day was Hunter Brackin (2017, Enterprise HS, AL) who went 1-2 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk.  Evan Barber (2017, Central HS, AL) used a quiet hitting approach and a short, compact swing to go 2-3 with 1 run scored.  

Nelson Baseball School advances to Championship

The Nelson Baseball School 16's defeated the Oxford Swarm 5-2 to advance to the Championship game.  Jamie Boatright (2017, Hillgrove HS, GA) started and earned the win for Nelson going 6 2/3 innings allowing just 2 unearned runs on 2 hits and 4 walks, while recording 7 strikeouts.  Boatright relied primarily on his 72-77/78 mph fastball and mixed in a couple mid 60's curveballs in his start.  

Offensively for Nelson, leadoff man, Jayln Carter (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) scored 1 run, stole 2 bases and worked 1 walk to spark the offense.  Tristan Dobbs (2017, North Cobb HS, GA) went 1-2 in the game and knocked in 1 run.  Jason Piotter (2017, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) also showed well scoring 1 run, with 1 RBI and working 1 walk.  

For the Swarm, James Parker (2018, Thompson HS, AL) went 1-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  Judson Moore (2017, Oxford HS, AL) added in a 1-2 day with 1 walk performance at the plate.  

Rays advance to Championship

The Triton Rays 16u defeated Stars Baseball 8-4 to advance to the Championship game.  David Boan (2017, Alabama Christian Academy HS, AL) led the way for the Rays offensively going 2-4 with a pair of doubles, 1 run scored and 3 RBI.  Leadoff man, Hunter Mercer (2017, Northside Methodist Church & A HS, AL) also showed well going 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 1 stolen base.  Williams also had a strong game going 2-3 with 1 run scored and 1 stolen base.  

Evan Baber (2017, Central HS, AL) started and earned the win for the Rays tossing 7 strong innnings allowing 4 unearned runs on 6 hits and 4 walks, while striking out 9 in the outing. Baber featured a 75-80/81 mph fastball with a 67-71/73 mph curveball on the mound.  

For the Stars, Jordan Ibarra (2017, Evans HS, GA) went 2-4 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI to do his part for their offense.  Patrick Tom (2017, Lakeside HS, GA) added in a 1-2 day with 2 RBI performance at the plate.  

Team Carolina Defeats Aces 9-2

Team Carolina defeated the Diamond Aces by a score of 9-2 behind solid pitching and hitting. 
Tate Pennington, (2017, Butler, NC) went 2-3 with two singles, one RBI and a run scored for Team Carolina. Justin Murray, (2018, Providence Day, NC) added two singles plus one RBI and a run scored. Murray also picked up the win as he pitched three innings, allowing one run, unearned, on three hits while striking out two. 
Kyle Turner, (2017, Griffin, GA) had a good outing for the Diamond Aces as he pitched two innings, only allowing one run on one hit while striking out three. Lane Iddings, (2017, Pike County, GA) led his team offensively with one single and an RBI. 

Late Run enough for Nelson Baseball

Nelson Baseball School 16's grabbed one run in the bottom of the seventh inning that proved to be the deciding difference as they defeated Palmetto Xpress, 1-0.

Tristan Dobbs (2017, North Cobb HS, GA) carried the Nelson Baseball team from the mound, as he threw a complete game no-hitter.  He struck out seven batters and allowed just one walk in the contest.  He had a fastball that averaged 77-79/80 mph, and mixed in a good curveball for his off-speed pitch.

At the plate, Alec Scott (2017, Mt. Paran Christian HS, GA) sparked the offense, going 2-2 with two singles, and Jamison Wilks (2017, North Paulding HS, GA) went 1-3 with a single and one RBI.  Ty DeLancey (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) finished 1-2 at the plate with one run scored as well.

For Palmetto, Ethan Jones (2017, Laurens Dist 55, SC) pitched 6.2 innings of work, giving up just one earned run on five hits, and struck out six in the game.  He had a fastball that topped out at 80 mph as well, and also mixed in a handful of curveballs for his off-speed pitch.


Stars Baseball cruise past the Knights 10-2

Stars Baseball cruised past the Winston Knights 16U, 10-2.

Zach Rutt (2017, Greenbrier HS, GA) led the way for the Stars offense, going a perfect 2-2 at the plate, with a double, single, and two RBIs.  Reid Tulowitzky (2017, Lakeside HS, GA) also contributed by going 2-3 with two singles, and one run scored in the game.  Jordan Ibarra (2017, Evans HS, GA) also finished a perfect 2-2, with two singles, two runs scored and one RBI.

Hayden Harris (2017, Grovetown HS, GA) pitched a complete game, giving up one earned run on four hits, and struck out 11.  He had a fastball that averaged 74-76/77 mph and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

For the Knights, Declan Demarest (2017, Chapel Hill HS, GA) went 2-3 with two singles, and Alan Dooley (2017, Douglas County HS, GA) finished 1-2 with a single and one run scored.




Down Three, Athletics Win By Eight

The Texas Athletics defeated the WBA Braves Blue 11-3 in six innings.

For the Texas Athletics, Dillon Nesbit (2017, Spring, TX) led the surge with a single and a double while plating three RBIs. Boedy Flores (2018, Harlingen, TX) helped with a pair of singles with two walks and a RBI. Kaleb Rael (2017, Victoria, TX) connected with a RBI double while scoring twice. The team as a whole picked up nine RBIs. 

Javan Smitherman (2018, Kilgore, TX) went the complete game for his team. He let all three runs score off six hits. He walked two batters and struck out nine while touching 82 mph with his fastball.

Cohoes tried to fuel a comeback for the Braves with a single and a double while driving in two RBIs. Bernitt helped with a pair of singles and a run, and Canady and Bracknell added a single each.


Team Carolina Regains Lead in 6-2 Win

Team Carolina defeated the Augusta Titans 16U 6-2 in seven innings.

Alex Featherstone (2017, Charlotte, NC) led Team Carolina's offense with a single and a double. He added a single and run as well. Cole connected with a single and a double while touching home once. Ryan Willie (2017, Charlotte, NC) roped a RBI double, and Christopher Deitch (2017, Matthews, NC) added a RBI single to join in. 

Connor Rudy (2019, Charlotte, NC) tossed the complete game. He didn't give up an earned run while letting two hits fall. He walked six batters but struck out a dozen. He ran the radar up to 81 mph.

Tristan Mock (2017, Evans, GA) tried to fuel a comeback for the Titans with a RBI single. Emmanuel Bryson (2018, Grovetown, GA) helped with a single.


Deeter's 3 hits helps Mavericks over the Heat

The Upstate Mavericks defeated the West Cobb Heat 15u by a score of 10-4 in a consolation game.  Leadoff man, Ryan Deeter (2017, J L Mann HS, SC), helped spark the Mavericks' offense by going 3-3 with 1 double and 2 runs scored.  Michael Beans (2017, Hartsville HS, SC) added in a 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI day at the plate.  Christian Hynemann (2017, J L Mann HS, SC) also showed well going 1-3 with 1 triple and 2 RBI.  Jacob Pulley (2017, Bouling Springs HS, SC) continued the strong offensive day going 1-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 3 RBI at the plate.  

Nick Smith (2017, Spartanburg HS, SC) started and earned the win for the Mavericks going 4 1/3 innings allowing 3 earned runs, while punching out 5 batters.  Smith featured a 76-80 mph fastball and also mixed in a 68-71/72 mph curveball.

For the Heat, Jackson Kelly (2018, Walker HS, GA) went 1-1 with 1 double and 2 RBI to do his part for their offense.  Matthew Siragusa (2018, Kennesaw Mountain HS, GA) earned 3 walks at the plate, scoring 1 run with 1 stolen base.  
 

Pitching Duel Favors Oxford Swarm

The Oxford Swarm defeated the Georgia Nationals 2-0 in seven innings.

Judson Moore (2017, Oxford, AL) and Jacob Smith (2018, Calera, AL) led the Swarm offense with each picking up a RBI single. Austin Smith (2017, Linesville, AL) added a double and later scoring to add to the lead. 

Moore pitched three strong innings for his team. He did not give up a walk, hit, or run. He walked three batters while touching 78 mph with his fastball. Smith also came in for relief for the last four innings. He let the lone hit fall without a run to score. He walked one batter and struck out eight batters. He maxed out the gun at 78 mph. 

Chandler Fulton (2018, Ellenwood, GA) picked up the only hit for the Georgia Nationals with a double. 

Jalyn Hawkins (2018, Lithonia, GA) went the complete game while on the mound. He allowed two runs and three hits to occur. He walked four batters and struck out seven while touching 77 mph. 

Palmetto Xpress Fends Off Diamond Aces

The Palmetto Xpress defeated the Diamond Aces 6-4 in seven innings.

Ethan Jones (2017, Lauren, SC) led the Surge for the Xpress with a pair of double while scoring once. Taylor Bailey (2018, Clinton, SC) connected with two singles and scoring twice, and Mitchell Thompson (2018, Fountain Inn, SC) and Jared Cvetko (2017, Fountain Inn, SC) added a RBI single of their own.

Tyler (Tank) Harrison (2018, Belton, SC) tossed the longest and went four innings. He let one run to score with three hits to fall. He struck out a pair and walked one. He maxed out the radar at 75 mph. Cvetko finished the game and allow two earned runs and four hits. He walked only one while striking out five on his 78 mph fastball.

Isiah Harris (2017, Newnan, GA) tried to light a comeback for the Aces with a single and a double with a RBI along with a run. Logan Worley (2017, Griffin, GA) roped a pair of singles with a run. Lane Iddings (2017, Williamson, GA) connected with a double and later scored, and Cody Streit (2017, Williamson, GA) helped with a RBI single.

Strikers defeat the Athletics

The SBO Strikers 15U defeated the C12 Athletics 9-0 in their consolation game Sunday afternoon where 4 pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter.  Alex Poff (2018, North Paulding HS, GA) led the way offensively going 2-3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI on the day.  Austin Cloud (2018, Darlington HS, GA) also showed well going 1-2 with 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Jared Rine (2018, Hilgrove HS, GA) added in a 1-2 day with 2 RBI and leadoff man, Trenton Harrison (2017, Woodland HS, GA), went 2-2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  

Grayson Bagwell (2017, Woodland HS, GA) earned the win for the Strikers going 2 2/3 perfect innings with 3 strikeouts using a 70-74 mph fastball with a 63-65 mph curveball.  

Early Lead Pushes Rays to 4-2 Victory

The Triton Rays 16U defeated the Batters Box DeMarini 16U 4-2 in seven innings.

For the Rays, David Boan (2017, Pike Road, AL) led the offensive surge with a pair of hits with two RBIs. Stephen Cullen (2017, Pelham, AL) added a double and scored twice. Hunter Mercer (2017, Newton, AL) and Evan Baber (2017, Phenix City, AL) roped a single and a run each to help the team.

Koree Peppers (2017, Winder, GA) went most of the game for his team on the mound with six innings of work. He did not let an earned run score and scattered four hits. He walked one and struck out six on his 78 mph fastball. He has good command with a solid arm action. He stays tall on his backside while using his lover half. 

Bradon Melton (2017, Lakeland, TN) roped the only extra base hit for DeMarini with a double, and he later scored. John Bolton (2018, Memphis, TN) was pinned with the only RBI for his team.

Shemper tossed six innings of work for his team. He let one earned run score with four hits to fall. He walked three batters while striking out six. He maxed out the radar at 78 mph fastball. He has a good curveball with a change up that can sink. He displayed projectable stuff while on the mound. 

Nacovsky lifts the A Team over the Jays

A Team Baseball defeated the Complete Game Jays 7-3 in a consolation game.  Jordan Nacovsky (2017, Evans HS, GA) led the way for the A Team going 2-4 with 1 triple, 3 runs scored and 1 stolen base.  Nacovsky also earned the win on the mound going 3 innings and striking out 3 batters using a 72-76 mph fastball with a 61-63 mph curveball. 

Nick Boyd (2017, North Augusta HS, SC) also showed well going 2-2 with 1 double, 1 run scored, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Bradley White (2018, Aquinas HS, GA) added in a 1-3 day with 1 double and 1 RBI on the day.  

For the Jays, Evan Sullivan (2018, Greenbrier HS, GA) went 1-2 with 1 double and 2 RBI to do his part for their offense.  Jonathan Cole (2018, Greenbrier HS, GA) impressed as well going 1-3 with 1 RBI and 1 stolen base.  

A Team and Mavericks End in 8-8 Tie

The A Team Baseball tied with the Upstate Mavericks 8-8 at the end of six innings.

Jordan Nacovsky (2017, Evans, GA) led the A Team with a single and a double while driving in two RBIs and scoring once. Cameron Aiken (2018, Martinez, GA) helped with a two RBI single, and Garrett Marchman (2017, Evans, GA) connected with a RBI single and a run for his team. Bradley White (2018, Augusta, GA) roped a single and scored twice.

For the Mavericks, Chase Ellis (2016, Columbia, SC) led the team with a RBI double and run. Zach Greene (2017, Chesnee, SC) smacked a two RBI single with a run to help out. Ryan Deeter (2017, Greenville, SC) collected a single with a run.


One Hit Shutout for Stars Baseball

The Stars Baseball defeated the WSA Baseball 8-0 in six innings.

For the Stars, Reid Tulowitsky (2017, Augusta, GA) and Zach Rutt (2017, Evans, GA) led the surge with a pair of singles with a run each. Jordan Ibarra (2017, Evans, GA) also helped out tremendously with a single and a double while scoring a run and touching home once. Alex Mann (2017, Evans, GA) connected with a two RBI single as well. Nocholas Iseman (2017, Evans, GA) contributed a RBI double with a run. Kevin Gorta (2017, Evans, GA) smacked a two RBI triple and later scored. 

Tyler Vining (2017, Evans, GA) went the longest with not four innings. He did not let a run score with only one hit to fall. He walked just one batter and struck out four with his 76 mph fastball. He throws strikes with a nice arm action. He has sound mechanics with a good hip rotation. 

Silas Drummond (2017, Chipley, FL) picked up the only hit for WSA with a single. 

Sabres and Braves tie

Both teams scored runs in the seventh but neither could pull away as Westside Sabres and East Cobb Braves 16U tie 5-5. Noah Ludy (2017, Hillgrove, GA) led the Braves with three singles and an RBI. Zach Starker (2017, Sprayberry, GA) doubled in two runs.  Kyle Rutledge (2017, Sprayberry, GA) went 2 for 3 and came around to score once. Roberto Irizarry (2017, North Cobb, GA) threw 5 1/3 innings. He struck out seven while allowing six hits. His fastball was between 77-80 mph and touched 81. 

Jordan Knight (2017, James Byrnes, SC) went 2 for 2 and came around to score both times for the Sabres.  Zeke Stephens (2017, James Byrnes, SC) also had two singles and drove in a run .

Late Rally give BattersBox 14-3 Win

Batters Box DeMarini 16U scored six runs in the final inning to pull away from A Team Baseball as they went on to win 14-3.
Alex Langford, (2018, Tipton-Rosemark, TN) led the offense for Batters Box going 2-4 with a single, a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Collin Truitt, (2018, Houston, TN) also had a double and two RBIs to add to the offensive output. J Fowler led his team on the mound by pitching five innings and allowing one run on four hits while striking out seven. 
Bradley White, (2018, Aquinas, GA) was the offensive leader for A Team Baseball going 2-3 with two singles and two RBIs. 

Palmetto Xpress Edge Braves 5-3

Palmetto Xpress took an early three run lead after the first inning and never looked back as they went on to defeat the WBA Braves Blue by a score of 5-3. Jared Danko, (2018, Hillcrest, SC) was the offensive leader for Palmetto as he went a perfect 2-2 with two singles. Taylor Bailey, (2018, Clinton, SC) pitched 2.2 innings, allowing one run on no hits while striking out three to earn the win. 
Cohoes and Sutarih were the offensive leaders for the WBA Braves as they each had a single and one RBI. Cohoes also had a run scored. 

Jayhawks Edge Strikers 2-1

In a close game, the Denny Pritchett Jayhawks edged out the SBO Strikers 15U by a score of 2-1. 
Dawson Rickett, (2017, North Forsyth, GA) and Austin Owen, (2017, Creekview, GA) each had a single to lead the Jayhawks offense. Garrett Jeffries, (2017, Creekview, GA) pitched six innings, allowing one run, none were earned, on four hits while striking out six.
Trenton Harrison, (2017, Woodland, GA) was equally effective on the mound for the Strikers as he pitched a complete game, allowing two runs, none earned, on two hits while striking out seven. Trevor Murphy, (2018, Villa Rica, GA) led the offense going 2-3 with a double and a single. 

Knights Hold Off Late Rally to Win 7-5

The Winston Knights 16U held off a late rally and edged out the East Cobb Braves 16U by a score of 7-5. 
Kevin Brooks, (2017, Alexander, GA) was the offensive leader going 1-2 with a single, two RBIs, a walk, and one run scored. James Siekerman, (2017, Chapel Hill, GA) added a double, one RBI and a run to the offensive production. Alan Dooley, (2017, Douglas County, GA) pitched three innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out five. 
Trevor Oakes, (2017, Hartselle, AL) led the East Cobb Braves offense with two singles and run scored while teammate Dawson Pritchett, (2017, Hillgrove, GA) added a single, a run and one RBI. Stephen Cason, (2017, Etowah, GA) pitched three innings, allowing one run, two unearned, on one hit while striking out two.

A four run second inning carried the Complete Game Bulldogs to an 8-1 victory over the Westside Sabres. 
Blake Teston, (2017, Harlem, GA)was the offensive leader for the Bulldogs going 3-4 with three singles, two RBIs and one run scored. Davis Hare, (2017, South Effingham, GA) added a single and a double to go with an RBI. Sam Swift, (2017, Greenbrier, GA) pitched a complete game holding the Sabres one run on five hits while striking out five. 
Peyton Williams, (2018, Dorman, SC) was the offensive leader for the Sabres going 2-3 with two singles and he drove in his team's lone run. Jordan Knight, (2017, Byrnes, SC) pitched four innings and allowed four runs on eight hits while striking out five. 

Knights stage a comeback

Winston Knights 16U came back in the late innings to beat Complete Game Bulldogs 3-1. Garrett Grandstaff (2017, Chapel Hill, GA) led the offense with two hits including a double.  JT Siekerman (2017, Chapel Hill, GA) singled in a run. He also pitched three innings.  JT struck out two while allowing two hits. 

David Hollie (2018, Cross Creek, GA) threw 5 1/3 innings for the Bulldogs.  He fanned six and allowed four hits. Hunter Jones (2018, Harlem, GA) led the Bulldogs with three singles.  Clay Decker (2017, Harlem, GA) also had three hits, one being a double. 

Pitchers Duel Ends in 0-0 Tie

The Diamond Aces and the Texas Athletics found themselves in a pitcher's duel as neither team's offense could muster any runs as the game ended in a 0-0 tie. 
Ozbeth Marcelo Perez, (2018, Alexander, TX) was the starting pitcher for the Texas Athletics allowing only one hit while striking out seven. Dillon Nesbit, (2017, Klein Collins, TX) had the lone hit for the Athletics. 
Trevor Gaddy, (2017, East Coweta, GA) pitched a complete game, allowing one hit while striking out six. Will Barfield, (2017, Upson-Lee, GA) had the Aces lone hit in the game.

The Triton Rays 16U offense came to life as they scored 20 runs and their pitching held the opposing offense to no runs in 20-0 win over the Upstate Mavericks. 
Stephen Cullen, (2017, AL) was the offensive leader for the Rays with four singles in four trips to the plate to go with three RBIs and four runs scored. David Boan, (2017, Alabama Christian Academy, AL) added a triple, a single, three RBIs and scored a run. Caleb Sullivan, (2017, Edgewood Academy, AL) pitched three innings and didn't allow a run or hit while striking out six.
Jake Futrell, (2017, Spartanburg, SC) got on base both times by drawing two walks for the Upstate Mavericks. 

Nelson Baseball Defeats Jays 10-3

The Nelson Baseball School 16's defeated the Complete Game Jays by a score of 10-3 behing an all-around team effort. 
Austin Weir, (2017, North Paulding, GA) was the offensive leader for Nelson Baseball School going 1-2 with a double and four RBIs. Ty DeLancey, (2017, East Paulding, GA) added a double and two RBIs while teammate Jamie Boatright, (2017, Hillgrove, GA) added a single plus two RBIs. Jason Piotter, (2017, Kennesaw Mountain, GA) had a good outing on the mound throwing five innings and allowed two runs on three hits while striking out six. 
Hayden Harrison, (2018, Greenbrier, GA) was the offensive leadr for the Jays going 2-3 with two singles and two RBIs. Jackson Rosier, (2018, Greenbrier, GA) pitched four innings and allowed five runs, two earned, while striking out two. 

Casey's Gem Leads Swarm to 3-0 Win

Colin Casey, (2017, Jacksonville, AL) pitched a complete game shut out, only allowing one hit while striking out nine in a 3-0 win over Team Carolina. His fastball averaged between 75-77 mph and maxed out at 81 mph. 
Colby Cagle, (2018, Handley, AL) led the Swarm offense going 2-3 with a single, a double, and one RBI. Ethan Whitley, (2018 Oxford, AL) and Peyton Thomas, (2018, Phil Campbell, AL) each had two singles to add to the offensive production. Thomas also scored a run. 
Cole Revels, (2017, Providence, NC) had the lone hit for Team Carolina and Jose Vera, (2017, Ardrey Kell, NC) pitched six innings, allowing one run on nine hits while striking out one. 

6 Run 6th Carries Stars to 10-2 Win

Stars Baseball scored six runs in the 6th inning to break open a scoreless game and went on to beat C12 Athletics 10-2. 
Nicholas Iseman, (2017, Greenbrier, GA) led the Stars Baseball offense going 1-3 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored. Reid Tulowitzky, (2017, Lakeside, GA) also had a good offensive game going a perfect 3-3 with three singles, one RBI and two runs scored. Lead off hitter Hayden Harris added two singles, one RBI and two runs scored. 
Starting pitcher Alex Mann, (2017, Lakeside, GA) had an effective day on the mound throwing three innings and allowing two runs on two hits while striking out five. 
Andrew Thomas, (2017, Smoky Mountain, NC) led the C12 Athletics going 1-3 with a double and one RBI. Caleb Moss, (2018, Franklin, NC) added a single and one RBI to the Athletics offensive production.
Thomas was also the starting pitcher throwing four innings and allowing six runs on five hits while striking out four. 

Jays have a comeback

Complete Game Jays came back in the sixth to beat SBO Strikers 15U 8-7. Johnathan Cole (2018, Greenbrier, GA) drove in two runs with a single.  Noah Cunningham (2018, Greenbrier, GA) went 2 for 3 with a triple. Ashton Sturgell (2018, Greenbrier, GA) singled in a run. 

Trenton Harrison (2017, Woodland, GA) drove in three runs with a double for the Strikers. Steven Spell (2018, Cass, GA) pitched in with a single and an RBI. 

DeCarlo pitches to a win

Brian DeCarlo (2017, Allatoona, GA) started for Nelson Baseball School 16's in their 11-2 win over Denny Pritchett Jayhawks.  In five innings, he struck out six while allowing five hits and zero walks. Jalyn Carter (2017, East Paulding, GA) led the offense with three hits including a double and four RBI's. Alec Scott (2017, Mt Paran Christian, GA) had two singles in the win. Tristan Dobbs (2017, North Cobb, GA) drove in two runs with a double. 

Gavin Schubiger (2017, North Forsyth, GA) led the Jayhawks with two singles and an RBI. 

Heat slip past Athletics

West Cobb Heat 15U hands C12 Athletics a 8-2 loss. Keyshawn Askew (2018, McEachern, GA) had two doubles and an in RBI for the Heat.  Michael Hostetler (2018, Kennesaw Mountain, GA) drove in a run with a single. The Heat's pitching staff only allowed two hits.  Zeke Diamond (2018, Pace Academy, GA) pitched the first two innings. He fanned one and did not walk a batter.  Ronny Piepmeier (2018, North Cobb Christian, GA) came in next.  In four innings, he fanned four but walked five. 

Grayson Lane (2018, Rabun County, GA) had one of the hits for the Athletics.  He also drove in a run with that single.  Derrick Thomas (2018, Mountain Heritage, NC) had the other, which was a double.

Nelson Baseball School 16's defeated the SBO Strikers 15u 14-2.  Tristan Dobbs (2017, North Cobb HS, GA) helped led the way for the Nelson offense going 3-4 with 1 double, 3 runs scored and 4 RBI on the day.  Alex Prosser (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) also showed well going 3-3 with 1 triple, 1 run scored, 3 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk.  Continuing their strong offensive output, Alec Scott (2017, Mt Paran Christian HS, GA) went 2-3 with 1 double, 1 RBI and 1 walk.  William Prater (2017, East Paulding HS, GA) added in a 2-3 day with 3 runs scored, 2 stolen bases and 1 walk.  

Brady Jones (2017, Etowah HS, GA) started and earned the win for the Nelson Baseball School as he tossed 4 strong innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 3 walks, while recording 3 strikeouts.  

For SBO, leadoff man, Trenton Harrison (2017, Woodland HS, GA), went 1-3 with 1 double and 1 RBI.

6 run 5th helps Knights over Sabres

The Winston Knights 16u defeated the Westside Sabres 11-9 thanks in part to a 6 run bottom of the 5th.  Jake Melish (2017, Chapel Hill HS, GA) led the way for the Knight's offense going 1-2 with 1 triple, 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk.  Alan Dooley (2017, Douglas County HS, GA) added in a 1-3 day at the plate with 3 RBI.  Bradley Silva (2017, Chapel Hill HS, GA) also showed well going 1-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI, while JT Siekerman (2017, Chapel Hill HS, GA) went 2-3 with 1 double, 2 runs scored,1 RBI and 1 stolen base.  

Bradley Shackelford (2017, South Paulding HS, GA) earned the win out of the bullpen tossing 2/3 of an inning with 1 strikeout featuring a 70-73 mph fastball and mixing in a 59-62 mph curveball.  

For the Sabres, Carson Cox (2019, Dorman HS, SC) went 3-3 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Leadoff man, Lee Cavendish (2018, Dorman HS, SC) put together a strong game as well going 1-3 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk.  Lace Henson (2018, Dorman HS, SC) also played well going 1-3 with 2 RBI.   

Bullpen carries Stars to win

Stars Baseball defeated the West Cobb Heat 15u 11-4 in their first game of the tournament.  The Stars received very strong bullpen outings from both Coen Hudson (2017, Evans HS, GA) and Patrick Tom (2017, Lakeside HS, GA).  Hudson showed a quick arm tossed 4 1/3 innings allowing just 1 hit and struck out 10 using a 74-79 mph fastball with armside run.  Tom earned the win pitching 2 perfect innings of relief and recording 2 strikeouts using a 71 mph fastball.  

Offensively for the Stars, Trey Gomillion (2017, Grovetown HS, GA) went 2-2 with 1 double and 2 RBI.  Kevin Gorta (2017, Greenbrier HS, GA) showed good extension and promising power potential going 1-3 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk.  Tyler Vining (2017, Greebrier HS, GA) used a short, compact swing as he went 1-3 with 1 double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI.  

For the Heat, Zeke Diamond (2018, Pace Academy HS, GA) led the way for their offense picking up the only hit going 1-2 with a single.  

Nationals top Titans

Chandler Fulton (2018, Woodward Academy, GA) drove in four runs for Georgia Nationals 13-1 win over Augusta Titans 16U.  He hit two singles.  Makia Holloway (2017, Tucker, GA) singled in two runs.  Preston Rogers (2017, Chamblee Charter, GA) did his part by hitting two singles and driving in a run. Laydoffas Hooper (2018, Miller Grove, GA) pitched five quality innings. He struck out seven and allowed just one hit.

Savon Doolittle (2017, Westside, GA) threw 3 2/3 innings. He fanned seven and allowed six hits. 

Buckner lifts Braves

Buckner helped WBA Braves Blue in their 8-4 win over Diamond Aces.  He drove in four runs and hit a triple.  Schmidt went 1 for 4 with two RBI's.  Foote drove in a run with a double.  Both Passons and Cohoes had two singles each in the win. Stauss pitched six solid innings. He fanned two but walked five. 

Isiah Harris (2017, East Coweta, GA) led the Aces with two singles and an RBI.  Trey Jordan (2017, Whitewater, GA) went 2 for 3 with two RBI's.

Cody Gwin (2017, Marianna, FL) had a great day at the plate for WSA Baseball in their 8-0 win over C12 Athletics. He had three doubles and drove in two runs.  Max Harrell (2017, Marianna, FL) went 2 for 3 with two doubles and two RBI's.  John Hodge (2019, Providence Christian, AL) pitched in with two singles. Logan Benefield (2017, Cottondale, FL) pitched four innings and struck out three.  

Justin Penland (2017, Franklin, NC) threw 2 1/3 innings for the Athletics. He struck out three and allowed four hits. 

Palmetto Xpress defeat Athletics 5-1

Palmetto Xpress defeated the Texas Athletics, 5-1.

Dayton Brune (2018, Wade Hampton HS, SC) sparked the Xpress offense, by going 2-3 with a triple, single and one run scored.  Leadoff hitter Tyler Harrison (2018, Eastside HS, SC) went 1-3 with a single, one run scored and two RBIs in the game.  Brune also pitched a complete game on the mound, giving up no earned runs, five hits, and struck out five throughout the game.  He had a fastball that averaged 69-71 mph and topped out at 75 mph.  He also mixed in a handful of curveballs and changeups for his off-speed pitches.

For the Athletics, Boedy Flores (2018, Harlingen HS, TX) went 1-2 with a double.

The East Cobb Braves 16U defeated the Complete Game Bulldogs in a high scoring affair, 12-9.

Braedon Todd (2017, Woodstock HS, GA) went 1-3 for the Braves, with a double, two runs and two RBIs in the contest.  Jay Wlkinson (2017, Hillgrove HS, GA) went 1-3 as well, with a single, one run and one RBI.  Roberto Irizarry (2017, North Cobb HS, GA) contributed to the offense as well with a double in the game.

For the Bulldogs, Hunner Jones (2018, Harlem HS, GA) went 2-4 with two singles, two runs and one RBI.  David Hollie (2018, Cross Creek HS, GA) went 1-3 with a double, one run and two RBIs in the game.

Gavin Schubiger (2017, North Forsyth HS, GA) led the Jayhawks offense, going 2-3 with a double, single, one run, and five RBIs in the contest.  Dawson Rickett (2017, North Forsyth HS, GA) went 2-3 as well, with two singles, two runs, and one RBI.  Both Jonathan Hirschland (2017, Cambridge HS, GA) and Logan Samples (2017, North Forsyth HS, GA) each went 1-1 at the plate, with a single and two runs scored a piece in the game.

Mikey Draeger (2017, Lexington HS, TN) pitched 6.2 innings of work for DeMarini, giving up one earned run on just three hits, and struck out eight in the game.  He had a fastball that averaged 74-78/79 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

At the plate, John Bolton (2018, Memphis University, TN) led the way going 1-2 with a single and one run scored.  Corey Mitson (2018, Tipton-Rosemark Academy, TN) went 1-1 with a single and one run scored as well.

For the Mavericks, Cothran went 1-3 with a single and one RBI.  Chase Ellis (2016, Blythewood HS, SC) and Dieter each contributed to the offense with a double in the contest.

The West Cobb heat 15U defeated WSA Baseball 4-2, thanks to late-inning runs that put the Heat on top and on to the victory.

Brandon Knight (2017, North Cobb HS, GA) went 1-3 for the Heat, with a single and one run scored.  Keyshawn Askew (2018, Mceachern HS, GA) went 1-2 with a single and one run scored of his own.  Ronny Piepmeier (2018, North Cobb Christian HS, GA) also went 1-2 with a single and one run scored.

On the mound, Jake Sorrells (2017, Marietta HS, GA) went four innings of work, giving up one earned run on four hits.

The Triton Rays 16U cruised to the 14-1 victory, defeating A Team Baseball in four innings.

For the Rays, leadoff hitter Hunter Mercer (2017, Northside Methodist Church, AL) led the way, going 3-4 with three singles, two runs scored and three RBIs.  Stephen Cullen (2017, Undecided, AL) went 3-3 with two doubles, a single, two runs scored, and two RBIs in the contest.  Skole also went perfect at the plate, going 2-2 with two singles and two runs scored.
