2015 Top Prospects

Alex Baratta - SS - 2015 - Gladstone, NJ


Christopher Butera - OF - 2015 - Collegeville, PA
One of the event’s most consistent game action hitters, Butera shows outstanding bat speed and a compact stroke. He also showed good speed and instincts on the base paths.

Ryan Coulon - 1B - 2015 - Lindenhurst, NY
One of the event's strongest hitters, Coulon showed an ability to drive the ball to the opposite field and make consistent, hard contact to his pull side.

Dominic D'Alessandro - C - 2015 - Glassboro, NJ
Strong hitter who showed good raw power and the ability to backspin the ball, good arm behind the plate with accurate throws.

Joe Enea - 3B - 2015 - Manhasset, NY
Displayed one of the best power strokes of the event, showing loft in game action and a sound, disciplined approach. Also reached 82 mph on the mound.

Max Hawkins - SS - 2015 - Manasquan, NJ
Shows plus speed (6.71 60 yard dash) as well as a professional approach at the plate. Has the swing to make consistent, hard contact.

Lucas Maldonado - LHP - 2015 - Hawthorne, NY
Big, physical left-handed topped out at 82 mph and has more on the way. He has a fast clean, arm and also showed off one of the sharpest breaking balls in attendance.

Jorge Meran - OF - 2015 - Bronx, NY
After running a 6.96 60 yard dash and throwing an event best 94 mph from the outfield, Meran worked at 84-87 mph on the mound and showed one of the fastest bats in attendance. He has the tools the play in all facets of the game.

Alex Miller - RHP - 2015 - Belle Mead, NJ
Topped at 84 with a short quick arm action. Has good feel for a 11/5 curveball with sharp break. Gets good sink and run on change up and has idea how to pitch.

Nick Moglia - 1B - 2015 - Brick, NJ
Shows off easy power and impressive raw strength. Works from a balanced setup and squares the ball consistently.

Sean Rodriguez - LHP - 2015 - Nutley, NJ
Impressed on the mound with his projection. Topped out at 81 mph, and showed a feel for a 66 mph curveball and 70 mph changeup. Also an intriguing prospect at the plate.

Mark Silvestri - RHP - 2015 - Livingston, NJ
Topped at 84 with good long loose arm action. Flashed plus curveball potential with a sharp 11/5 curveball. good upside on mound.

Randy Taveras - 2B - 2015 - Bronx, NY
Ran a 6.82 60 yard dash and proved he can cause havoc with his speed in game action. Shows offensive tools that could play at the next level.

Sam Walsh - RHP - 2015 - Syracuse, NY
Shows projection on the mound and topped at 84 mph with his fastball. Also shows good fastball command and ability to miss bats.


2016 Top Prospects

Daniel Bakst - SS - 2016 - New York, NY
After throwing 82 mph across the diamond and showing sound infield actions, Bakst showed a compact line drive stroke and big life in his bat.

James Boria - C - 2016 - North Massapequa, NY
Shows projectable power at the plate and stood out defensively as well. Has arm strength from behind the plate and should continue to improve.

Dylan Caldwell - RHP - 2016 - Hollywood, MD
Reached 84 mph with his fastball and showed big arm side movement through the zone. Projects to have more velocity down the road.

Sam Kessler - RHP - 2016 - Mount Sinai, NY
Worked at 80-84 mph with his fastball and showed good depth on a hard 75 mph breaking ball.

Nicholas Rowland - OF - 2016 - Blue Bell, PA
Ran the best 60 yard time at the Underclass event (6.64) and uses his speed in game action effectively. Also shows interesting bat speed.

Sonny Ulliana - C - 2016 - South Hackensack, NJ
Showed solid footwork behind the plate, but really stood out at the plate. Showcased one of the quickest bats at the event and handled live pitching well.

Jake Wapinsky - OF - 2016 - Blandon, PA
Long arm action, fastball topped at 83 pitching downhill, fastball also showed cutting action. Also showed 2 seam in low high 70's, low 80's that ran. Has deceptive delivery.


2017 Top Prospects

Quentin Holmes - OF - 2017 - East Elmhurst, NY
Holmes showed a combination of speed on the bases and bat speed that made him the standout 2017 of the event. His bat needs to be watched very closely.
