Murphy, a University of North Florida commit, stood out for his measured and advanced hitting approach. He had a very strong round of batting practice, peppering line drives around the entire field and displaying an astute feel for the barrel. He also ran a showcase best 6.45 60-yard dash.
Travis Macgregor

At an athletic 6-foot-3, 180 pounds Macgregor certainly looks the part of a starting pitcher. This weekend he posted the top pitcher velocity hitting 90 mph, and sitting consistently in the 85-88 mph range. He also showed solid feel for a curveball and changeup.
Luis Valbuena

Valbuena has been to a number of Perfect Game Showcases and he continues to improve in all facets. The athletic outfielder posted an impressive 6.68 60-yard dash time, displayed solid fundamentals and a strong arm in the field, and good bat speed and strength in his line-drive swing.

Benitez had one of the most well-rounded workouts of anyone at the showcase event. He ran a 6.68 60-yard dash, hit 89 mph from the outfield and 86 mph from the infield in defensive drills, and put together a nice round of batting practice with an aggressive approach.

Another pitcher with a strong frame and build, Marcelak was clocked up to 89 mph with his fastball this past weekend. He also worked in a slider and changeup.
Yasel Fabra

Fabra impressed last year at the National Underclass Main Event and he was solid again this weekend. The athletic outfielder ran a 6.81 60-yard dash and displayed good arm strength, hitting 85 mph on the radar gun in defensive drills.

Vazquez also showcased a wide variety of skills. He had strong defensive drills in both the outfield and at catcher, where he posted a showcase-best 1.78 pop time. He also impressed at the plate with a compact, efficient swing and good rhythm and balance from both sides of the plate.

Hernandez is another catcher that stood out. The physical 6-foot-3, 200 pounder has good arm strength and popped a 1.94 in defensive drills. He also has good hand quickness and developing power in his swing.

Millet is a strongly built 6-feet and 200 pounds but he shows some nimble footwork and agility in the corner infield. He also has some arm strength, and he showcased that on the mound, running his fastball up to 85 mph.
