2022 Top Prospects

Walter Ford  RHP - 2022 - Pace, FL
Alabama

Ford has a very projectable 6-1/165 build and lots of athleticism on both sides of the ball. He's a middle of the field athlete with a potential plus arm that was also up to 87 mph on the mound. He's simple and short to the ball from the right side of the plate and projects lots of future power.

Cade Kurland  SS - 2022 - Tampa, FL
Florida

Kurland is a very athletic 5-11/165 athlete with two-way potential. He has quick hitter's hands at the plate and a solid line drive approach and also showed advanced actions and balance in the middle infield. On the mound, Kurland topped out at 83 mph with a power curveball and a change up.

Christopher Scinta  LHP - 2022 - Tamarac, FL
Miami

Scinta is a big 6-0/200 athlete who is a primary pitcher who was up to 83 mph from the mound with a big sweeping left handed curveball. He was just as impressive at the plate, however, showing both power to the gaps and advanced barrel skills in squaring up the ball.

2023 Top Prospects

Aidan Miller  SS - 2023 - Trinity, FL
Arkansas

Miller is an excellent natural athlete with the chance to be a high ceiling player in the future. He's 6-0/170 now with a very projectable body and uses his strength well to create right handed bat speed. Miller's arm is his best present tool, as he was up to 88 mph during outfield drills and 86 mph on the mound.

Andy Hernandez  RHP - 2023 - Miami Gardens, FL
Wabash Valley College

Hernandez is a fun player to watch play, especially on defense, as he's full of both energy and skills and plays way above his 5-6/135 build. He stood out at the very different positions of centerfield and catcher and has outstanding arm strength in addition to his bouncy athleticism.

Kodi Deskins  C - 2023 - Oldsmar, FL
Wilson College

Deskins really stood out in the games and especially on defense. He has nice athletic quickness behind the plate and a strong arm. He's also a hard nosed competitor at a young age who plays with energy, always important on a catcher. Deskins also topped out at 82 mph on the mound with nice feel for his curveball.

Freddy Noel Beruvides Jr  LHP - 2023 - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Virginia

Beruvides has a big and strong 5-11/192 build and a nice easy delivery on the mound. He was up to 83 mph with consistent cutting action to both sides of the plate and also threw both a nice curveball and cutting change up for strikes. He's mature on the mound and has an idea how to pitch for a young southpaw.

Paul Guerne  LHP - 2023 - Melbourne Beach, FL
NYU

Guerne has a loose and easy arm action on the mound and was up to 80 mph with his fastball. His best pitch was a sharp breaking mid-60's curveball with big sweeping shape that he picked up some strikeouts with. Guerne also showed some nice pop with the bat.

Bryan Rivera  3B - 2023 - Tampa, FL
High Point

Rivera has a nice and projectable 6-0/150 build and plenty of solid young baseball skills. He literally played every position on the field at some point over the two days and looked good at all of them. He'll keep improving as he gets stronger.
