2015 Top Prospects

Kyle Molnar  RHP - 2015 - Aliso Viejo, CA

Fastball sat 89-91, cruised through three innings facing the minimum, got swings and misses not only by overpowering hitters with the fastball, but also by snapping off several nasty curveballs and has introduced a hard slider into his repertoire. Impressive OF tools/ability as well and could have made the top prospect list as an OF only.

Hammer breaking ball and upper 80s fastball with hard sinking action and the ability to keep it down in the strike zone. Will get a lot of ground ball outs with his fastball and swings and misses on the curve.

High level combination of speed and power. Hit well in games against fastballs and offspeed stuff, showed good instincts on the bases as well. Strong arm, threw 90 mph from the outfield in the workout.

High level two-way prospect, typically sits in the mid-upper 80s on the mound but the lefty came to show his offensive ability at this event and swung the bat impressively.

Up to 87 mph with the fastball, good tailing action to the arm side and showed command to both sides of the plate with fastball. Spun curveball well, shows good potential with that pitch, already missing bats with it, flashed solid changeup as well.
