2014 Top Prospects

Joe Shashaty  SS - 2014 - New York, NY
Hartford

Showing excellent overall athleticism, Shashaty posted an impressive 4.88 40 yard dash time, and an 82 mph reading across the diamond. He also shows good bat speed from the right side of the plate.

Joshua Terry  OF - 2014 - Bronx, NY

One of the event's toolsiest players, Terry showed elite level arm strength, throwing 89 mph during his outfield workout. He also showed a line drive swing path at the plate and high level foot speed, as he ran a 5.06 40 yard dash.


2015 Top Prospects

John Aiello  SS - 2015 - Lansdale, PA
Wake Forest

Among the elite players in the 2015 draft class, Aiello is equally dangerous from both sides of the plate, and has a cannon for an arm to go along with his bat.

Tim Salvadore  RHP - 2015 - Hopkinton, MA
Virginia Tech

Salvadore came out firing on the mound, topping out at 88 mph from a low three-quarter arm slot, creating very good arm side run with a feel for two off speed pitches.

Liam Scafariello  OF - 2015 - Southington, CT

Arguably the best pure power bat in attendance, Scaferiello generates easy right-handed power and will continue to develop that power as he gets more repetition. He has a well schooled approach and also shows good athleticism for his large, 6-foot-4 frame.

Carlos Garrido  C - 2015 - Trumbull, CT
Longwood

The weekend's top defensive standout behind the plate, Garrido posted event bests in the pop time and catcher velocity categories with 1.86 and 81 mph. He also showed off a compact, line drive stroke with pull power potential.

Jake Allen  SS - 2015 - Ashburn, VA

A solid shortstop with good present athleticism and ability to spray line drives to all parts of the field.

McDaniel Almanzar  SS - 2015 - Bronx, NY

Impressing with his advanced game action approach in the box, Alamanzar produced consistent, hard line drives and shows an ability to use the whole field.

David Brehm  OF - 2015 - Bohemia, NY

Brehm posted an impressive 87 mph reading during the outfield workout, and didn't stop there in showing off his tools. He also ran a 4.89 40 yard dash time and showed a solid approach at the plate.

With a nice, quick release and an accurate arm behind the plate, Calhoun popped a 2.04 down to second base. In the box Calhoun uses his strength, showing easy strength while flashing lift in swing. Had one ball come off the barrel at 88 mph in game action.

A righty swinging shortstop with above average speed, DeBellis has the actions and footwork to play shortstop and a strong offensive skill set.

Ryan Dewalt  RHP - 2015 - Maple Glen, PA

DeWalt is a strong framed right handed pitcher who ran his fastball up to 84 mph with a strong feel for a very sharp, late breaking curveball at 72 mph.

Jake Gillis  3B - 2015 - Bellmawr, NJ

A strong, lean left-handed batter, Gillis showed one of the better approaches at the event and flashes impressive bat speed and power potential.


2016 Top Prospects

Frank Vesuvio  RHP - 2016 - Armonk, NY
SUNY-Cortland

A toolsy athlete who not only throws 81-83 mph on the mound, but shows good bat speed and a ran a superb 4.83 40 yard dash time. Looks like an intriguing two-way talent.

Grant Keller  3B - 2016 - Midlothian, VA
Longwood

An excellent overall athlete, Keller posted a strong 84 mph velocity during his outfield workout, as well as 82 mph across the diamond. He also ran one of the event's best 40 yard dash times at 4.83 seconds.

Joey Kellman  RHP - 2016 - Hauppauge, NY

Kellman is an intimidating 6-foot-6 right handed pitcher who attacked hitters with his fastball that sat in the low 80's, getting lots of swing and misses, and projects for more.

Marc Bisogno  RHP - 2016 - Staten Island, NY
Fordham

With simple, repeatable mechanics, Bisogno topped at 82 mph with his fastball and shows a nice ability to spot it to both sides of the lower half of the strike zone. Also has a nice feel for his two off speed pitches in the zone.

Dominick Claxton  OF - 2016 - Carrollton, VA

Claxton posted an event best 4.78 40 yard dash time, showing superb athleticism in the process. He also has a compact right-handed swing with the potential to continue developing offensively.

Jack Hogan  RHP - 2016 - Pottstown, PA

Hogan uses his strength on both sides of the ball, showing a compact swing from the right side with nice lift and strength tho the middle of the field. On the mound he topped at 82 mph with arm side run from a fluid delivery.

Steven Lockwood  RHP - 2016 - Paramus, NJ
Nichols College

Although only a 2016 graduate, Lockwood has a polished approach on the mound showing a feel for three pitches. The ball comes out of his hand easily, with his fastball topping out at 79 mph and more to come once he starts to fill out his frame.

Bradley Rosenblum  RHP - 2016 - Sicklerville, NJ

Topping out at 80 mph, Rosenblum is able to generate very good arm side run and sink on his fastball. He shows a feel for all his pitches, filling up the strike zone and inducing ground ball contact.


2017 Top Prospects

Peter Theodorellis  OF - 2017 - Commack, NY
Molloy College

While young and with room to continue growing, Theodorellis impressed both at the plate and on the mound. He shows a repeatable, line drive stroke in batting practice and threw 79 mph from the mound.
