Preston Overbey is a 2010 3B/OF/P with a 6'3'', 210 lb. frame from Jackson, TN who attends University of Jackson HS. Very good athletic build, plus strength. Tall balanced stance, easy loose swing, good load, generates very good bat speed, shows present gap power, with more to come. Clean defensive actions both 3B and corner OF, solid arm strength, moves laterally well, nice soft hands. Straight ahead speed only tool lacking, but he runs OK. Scouts need to follow, early draft potential. Verbal to Mississippi.
