Devin Foreman is a 2006 third baseman/first baseman from Chicago, IL, with a thick and strong build at 6'0", 220 lbs. He's maintained his athletic looseness despite his obvious strength and moves well on the bases and defensively. He ran the 60 in 6.80, and shows a quick first step. At third base, Foreman showed very good range and a quick release. His hands and footwork are still developing, but he has a future on the corner. At the plate, Foreman hits out of a wide stance with a short stride and very quick hip rotation. He generates serious bat speed with a downward swing plane. He has the potential to hit with big time power in the future. Foreman's overall skills are good now, and will only get better when he can play year around. He is an excellent athlete with a very high ceiling.

Devin Foreman is a 2006 third baseman from Chicago, Illinois, with a strong 6'0", 205 lb. frame. Foreman is a well put together player with athletic actions. He has a very good set of tools, but his raw power might be his best. We ranked Foreman as one of the top power hitters at the event. He is a right handed hitter with fast twitch actions and very good bat speed. He stays inside the ball well and has a high finish with big time power potential. Foreman is aggressive at the plate with a line drive swing plane, and he swings the bat hard. He is not just a power hitter though. He has good hitting tools as well which was shown when he took an 88 mph fastball and hit it hard back up the middle. Foreman also has good arm strength defensively, and showed solid actions at third base. He runs well, especially his game quickness. Foreman has a great future when you combine his raw power, hitting skills, strong arm, speed, and hustle. He is a must follow.
