William Huff is a 2009 OF/2B/3B with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett HS. He has a nice athletic frame and good present strength. Huff has a polished and simple hitting approach that works well for him. He consistently squares up on the ball with a crisp, line drive swing and has the strength to drive the ball to the gaps. One thing that Huff notably does is really run hard out of the box. His swing leaves him balanced at contact and he ran a legit 4.24 from the right side. Huff showed good actions in the outfield, although his arm strength is short at present. He is a good student.

William Huff is a 2009 OF/3B with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Sugar Hill GA, who attends North Gwinnett HS. He has a young, lean body with some present strength. Huff hits from a narrow base and gets to his front side early. He has quiet, high hands. Huff's bat speed is very good for a projectable 2009 hitter. He stays short and inside the ball and has a level swing plane and takes an aggressive swing. Huff's bat speed is promising for his future; he has some mechanical adjustements to make, especially with his tendency to drift/lunge out front, but he has nice hitting tools. Huff is s 7.03 runner with good range in the outfield. He needs fundamental work on his throwing technique to improve his arm strength. With his projectability and age, Huff is a good follow with a good chance to keep improving. He was named to the showcase Top Prospect Team.
