Doug Elliott is a 2006 C/3B/1B from Rocky Hill HS in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, with a 6'2"/180 pound frame. A right handed hitter, Elliott has a wide hitting base and a straight stance. He has a knee lift trigger and a no stride approach at the plate. Doug is a line drive hitter who showed good raw power and the ability to hit the ball to the opposite field. He is a solid defensive catcher with an accurate arm behind the plate. He has a good transfer and quick feet as he was a 2.25 pop time to second base. Elliott is a solid student.
