LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2003 World Showcase
Fisherbaugh is a very talented RHP/hitter who needs to play DI baseball. Shows some athleticism and good power potential with the wood. On the mound in Ft Myers he was outstanding. His fastball in the upper 80s is lively and his arm works very nicely. He had some cutting action on his heater at times. Fisherbaugh has one outstanding breaking ball that no one should ignore. He throws a real good 76 up to 81 breaking ball. It's a hard sharp one that he can throw where he wants. This pitch alone will make him a very successful high level college pitcher. He also shows very good command and really competes. He's going to end up throwing 90. If he were a little taller, he would create a lot of serious draft interest. More than likely he will need to wait until he's done with a fairly certain successful college career before he gets scouts over excited. Then again it only takes one club to notice he has something special. That breaking ball is very special.
