Totesault pulled a muscle early on and couldn't play in Ft Myers. It's too bad because he has really gotten stronger and looked the best we've ever seen him physically. He's a speedster with great instincts. He's going to steal bases in professional baseball. He has outstanding true shortstop actions and a strong arm. He might end up playing another position in pro ball, but not because of a deficiency in talent. His future will be determined by his bat. He's an excellent wood bat hitter who could develop into a very good pro hitter. We really wish we could have seen him swing the bat in Ft Myers. That added strength could have been very interesting. He needs to be looked at very closely this Spring. He's a definite prospect.

Totesault gets better every time we see him. Outstanding MLB infield actions and a very strong arm. He's a plus runner with the instincts to be a big base stealer. He flashes line drive hitting ability and puts the ball in play against top pitching. An aggressive fielder/runner who will hit. As he gets bigger and stronger watchout!

Each time we see Toutesault we like him more. Some thought he was the top prospect of all the position players in Ft Myers. He has major league midinfield actions a strong arm and he's a plus runner. He hits line drives now, but as he gets stronger he could become a plus hitter as well.

Totesault needs to get stronger, but don't kid yourself he has a great future. Outstanding SS actions and plenty of arm. He's a plus runner and has an athletic body. He shows fast hands and good line drive ability from both sides of the plate.

Totesault has to be considered as one of the top shortstops for the class of 2003. He has softhands, a strong arm and can run. He has a pretty good swing with a slight uppercut and hit a little better from the left side. With added strength he could rise to the top. Keep an eye on him, he could be very special.
