Kolar is a very interesting INF/P with a big athletic body and some serious tools. He is a prospect and he was a very pleasant surprise in Ft Myers. He pretty much does everything real well except run. He does have good feet and and soft hands at 3B. He has nice infield actions and a good arm. Kolar can hit and he has professional hitting ability. His swing might be a bit long, but he creates plus bat speed out of a well balanced approach. He projects to hit the long ball with the power stroke he displayed in Ft Myers. With his MLB body and big bat, he could get some serious draft interest this June. If not, he should become a big time hitter at the college level. We like the way he plays. It's pretty much like a hard worker putting in a good day. There's a lot to like about this big kid.

Hits with authority, and has defensive agility and power. Good body and bat control. Someone to keep an eye on. He can play the game!
