Dustin Williams is a 2006 middle infielder from Rubidoux HS in Rubidoux, CA, with a 6'0", 165 lb. frame. Williams was one of the best defensive players at the event. He has great actions with very quick and soft hands and fields everything cleanly. On the pivot he shows his good hands and good footwork. Williams has plus range, especially to his right, and has great body control. He has solid arm strength with a quick and short release, and can handle either middle infield position. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with good bat speed from a slightly closed stance. Williams is a contact hitter that puts the ball in play, and doesn't try to do too much. He has the hands and the ability to hit the ball the other way. Williams has room to add strength to his frame and improve his overall game, but he is already a very advanced defensive player.
