We've seen Freeman many times over the last year. Every single time he's shown low 90s velocity and Ft Myers wasn't any different. Freeman is athletic and would be a prospect as a hitter. He's very strong and shows big time power potential. Good swing and he really drives a baseball. He took one of the best BPs of anyone in Ft Myers. That said, he's a power pitching prospect, complete with power pitching body. Excellent arm speed and leverage. He has good command and throws a potential plus slider that really looks tough at times. He even has a good feel for the changeup. He's a very interesting highest level prospect who could easily get some early draft interest. He should end up throwing mid 90s with 3 good pitches. He's a tough competitor with great makeup. He loves to play!

Athletic pitcher that has shown 90+ velocity every time we see him. The same arm speed on his change-up which is a potential plus pitch. Showed some ability to spin the ball. We see him as a possible power pitcher in Pro ball. Very strong build.

Freeman is a strong athlete with a definite power arm. He throws in the low 90s fairly easily and gets some exposive life at times. He needs to develop his breaking ball, but he shows an outstanding changeup. Seems to have real good command. He also swings the bat very well, but his future with that arm is on the mound.

Outstanding arm on this well built RHP. Appears to be very athletic. His arm works nicely and he gets great leverage. He is a definite high follow for next year and should be recruited by the power schools.
