Dylan Regan: Regan is a loose and slender 6-1 pitcher from Northern California. He throws with a deceptively easy arm action from a low ¾’s release point and does a good job both hiding the ball and creating some arm side run on his fastball. Regan was consistently in the 84-86 mph range with his fastball and threw lots of strikes early in the count. His curveball was 69-70 mph with consistent spin and break in the strike zone. Overall, Regan didn’t show a projectable strikeout pitch or look like he was overpowering hitters but he was in complete control and got 12 straight outs in short order. He looks like a solid college level pitcher to us. He has a chance to develop into a good draft pick out of college.
